will he make it for Belgium?

Of course he has some chances. Train him as DEF-MID.

My plan for the nearest future (1.5-2 seasons) is:
- some weeks of pace
- quite a lot of playmaking
- and then some passing

So he could end up something like this at the beginning of 21 (maybe little bit worse, but more likely somewhat better):

Is this convenient?

13 pops in two seasons.. Sounds kind of optimistic, unless he has lots of extras.

He is fresh youth and he doesn't have much of extras (as he popped in pace, technique and playmaking during those two trainings in my team ;-))

I was calculating like this:
- half of the season to get 12 pace
- whole season to get 13 playmaker
- half season to get 13 passing (here I count that he gets to formidable level before I start training passing)
- technique and defender should pop randomly in the course of two seasons

It is probably optimistic, but I don't think it is overly optimistic. He should have great talent hopefully (he was pulled with an sumskill of 60, which is quite promising) - and hopefully in 2-2.25 seasons he could do that. But yes, it is more like an optimistic estimate ;-)

Barring injuries and playing official matches he will almost certainly reach that level..he'll probably be even better
