Technique is more important for defenders to me, this player need unearthly defender after that 2 seasons of secondary...
As long as the playmaking skill isn't strong enough, your defenders will make idiot decisions, like running the ball out of play or passing to the wrong player.

Yes that is true, but when def technique level is low, in a fight for the ball in thе penalty, player cant stop the ball and this leads to very big problems for the keepers, bigger than one wrong pass :) We are discussed this theme in Bulgarian Forum many time with defender trainers, we all think the same!
his technique is not bad for a U21 level... but playmaking making the difference....

With the proper amount of def skill he can re-conquer the ball again after a lesser control. But it's ALL decisions which are bad when his PM skill is too low.
But then again.... the ME is sooooo f***** up that even 5 x divine skill players in unearthly form give the ball straight to an opponent as a damn counter attack to your own GK!
If this ME doesn't change, I'm out. This is frustration speaking, but really.... if this was real life, our NT wouldn't have even 1 supporter left!

I think his playmaker skill is not bad for U 21 NT, this is my opinion!!!I am mid trainer and like very much defenders with high playmaker, but for them technique is more important 99 % sure!!!
