I have this 21 yo guy and I have decided to give him some pace and after that start with secondary skills...I think it will be more important for him

Most NT managers would take a 2xdivine with 12 sideskills instead of 2x18 with 10 sideskills....

Correct....I would even say unearthly +3 to 4 trainings would be enough on 20-21 yo..

Better secondaries make them more flawless... pm make him play so fast atts will have hard time even reach for a tackle.. tech help him control the ball and resist more tackle attempts.. pm see more good passing solutions to create good build up on getting forward and less stupid clears over sideline, pass makes him do less errors when passing, like sidepasses or even back passes to opponents att.. and high pass Also allows pass to reach better in long balls and to the winger ...

The 26 yo def with +3 tech and +2 pm will move him from steady defender for Israel, to be of international class

And the 21 yo is a worldclass player, losing training on him by missing out on gt to do last pops would be a tragedy, and it will worsen the chance of fleksible enough to play defmid too
No matter what position... as 20-22 they should MINIMUM have a full level and up to 1,5-2 levels from what you desire at age 26+

Especially now that gts is 1/8 of an advanced and not only 1/12

Low tech defs costed me some important points last season. Top league attackers will mostly have 11+ defending, so I'd always go for defs with higher side skills as well.

And not just for not getting tackled, also control/first touch.... before 11+ they often do bad first touch where it becomes a loose ball attackers can snap
