I cant remember if those two sunday friendly matches in the season break count as official or friendly matches for the training purposes. Anyone knows the answer?

They count as friendly matches.

anybody understand this new stupid daytrading thing..?

usually don't buy any new players during the season, but with the crazy new injury adjustments i lost 3 starters in one week and had to buy 3 replacements.. basically 3 weeks ago and I still can't sell any of them... How long do i haver to wait??
THIS IS SO STUPID! I am going to just kill them soon, as i've already paid them for 3 weeks and still can't sell them.. CAN WE GET SOME REAL GUIDLINES FOR THIS??

How can we plan as managers if 33 y/o players won't be happy coming out of retirement for a 3 game stretch.. instead they demand more time??? wtf.. why not make this a bit more realistic, not less. they should be happy!

what is the point of this.. don't we want to increase TL activity.. not just kill it all.

Maybe 30+ yo players could need less than 4 weeks to be put on TL. They are the usual patches for injured players and the buyer risks to a loss of skills, so maybe they are not so good for daytraders (just guessing)

30+ yo players were used a lot for daytrading, since they didnt needed training

To ask for being able to have no bench/no reserve players, and only buy/sell when needed, is not realistic... i know a lot (incl. myself) have done so in the past, but that you now are needed to have some reserves, or at least keep them for a while, is in my optic, more realistic...

And YES, i understand daytrading regulations..... it is one of the reasons i came back, that devs were going to fix arcade bug and limit daytrading..... some guys in here, was hugely exploiting it!!

You have to keep the player for one month before you can sell him. Age is not relevant in this discussion.

right now it takes 4 weeks before reseling a player... if anything that is too little... more realistic would be that every player to initially sign a contract for a period of at least 1 season and not be able to be sold in that first season... and if you really want to get rid of a player sooner either pay his remaining salary or pay termination clauses ( that should also be added )

some exceptions can be established of course in situations such as a large number of players injured simultaneously / the total number of days of injury accumulated by players or players suspended simultaneously

in reality in most teams there are usually 2-3 players that get paid for nothing because they still have a contract with the club ( they're not playing at all or very little) and i'm sure we all know a few examples from the teams that we support

the problem that there is too much money in the sokker could be solved by introducing new club expenses (new staff members, logistics expenses, marketing, higher transfer fees, etc.)

new ways of negotiating contracts for players (and staff) should also be established ... any player will be able to negotiate with the club that wants him both fixed contract, bonuses and the contractual period
for example a 3x17 striker who is only 29-30 years old will be able to refuse the transfer to a much lower club than the current one or will ask for a significantly higher fixed salary and / or a longer contractual period to play for a smaller club compared to a bigger club (as in reality enough players go to Arab countries or China for more money)

on the other in a bigger club although he can ask for a slightly lower fixed salary / less contract years he will have included in the contract higher performance bonuses (individual and collective) that can bring him in total even more money than the lower club... and if a big club does not perform very good a few seasons in a row (2-3) then termination clauses can be activated to allow the top players to leave fora transfer amount significantly lower than their current market value or the contract between the player and the club will be renegotiated (the player will ask for a higher fixed salary)... that is to take into account the level of performance of the club (trophies, rank, mark, etc. )

age will also matter a lot (after 33-34 years the players will accept more often and with lower demands the transfers to smaller teams)

+1

Many users usted to buy great players for only 1 match, and then sell.

I had to buy by emergency one 36 yo att, and lost money, but now is more realistic, you have to be more prepared and plan better.

Still I think the injuries issue needs to be improves, as many other things like youth school, form, etc, etc etc... But this is the correct path....

And instead of punishing the few cheaters, devs chose to punish all users with this new rule. Most funny is that it even doesn't stop former daytraders and arcade bug cheaters to keep trading and earn an insane amount of money. Very high starting bidding prices are now used to secure the trades and abuse the buyers lost on the transfer market.

What is the punishment??? That you cant sell a player just after one match.... how is this realistic compared to real football... :)
2020-12-15 15:52:59
This player did not play a single official match in his previous club... :)

but that is not the point, games should be fun to play, allowing many different gamestyles ... that doesnt necessarily go along with being as real as possible
2020-12-15 16:23:37
But how long was he there ;)

And yes, allowing many different gamestyles, also means to balance traders, trainers, economy and result managers to be more equal :)
