I think what he means is this:
You put training type at: striker.
Now all players with ATT order will get striker training ( whatever you put for training match order).
Next to that all players with MID order will get half of the striker training.

That's not the case actually.
All orders which are not selected for training only receive GT
But if you train striker on MID order...then you only receive 50% of the striker training.
Now I have to say this again, cause it's really a stupid rule that kills the connectivity with the managers who own NT / U21 players and the coaches of those NT / U21 teams.
Last saturday, I played U25 against Colombia.
I selected 5 defenders, 3 midfielders and 2 strikers, so I played 5-3-2.
Then I received a mail, concerning a defender, who plays with MID order (apparently) because his coach is training PM or passing.
The manager asked me if I could NOT play the defender with DEF order, because that would disrupt his training.
Of course he's right to ask that, because I will slow his progression down and therefor will have a weaker defender in time...
Now, on the other hand, at the moment he's a pure defender with low(er) PM, so if I, as NT coach, will play him with MID order, he will distort my tactic and play much worse than he's able to. So I had to make the call not to play him any more.
Now, I really feel, and I'm sure at least 99% or the other users will really be okay with this change...
ALL skills should be trained at EQUAL speed, regardless of the chosen order. So if you want to train passing and you select ATT or DEF or GK order, it should train as fast than if you would select MID-order. Saying passing is a mid-skill is bullshit! All players will pas at a certain time, so all players need passing and they also need the freedom to be trained at passing at all orders!
The same goes for PM and striker!
Imo, the only skill that should have exclusivity is GK.
The rest are field skills, which all players (might) need to use.
So question:
Will the exclusivity of the training order for certain skills be removed, so we can train each skill on each order with the same speed, with exception of GK?
This really needs to be adjusted, because this rule limits players to either not play at their best position, OR it will slow down the progression of the training to a degree, the player cannot reach his full potential or even close to it...

No, you are not right.
You receive half of the striker training for players with MID order if you will train ATT at striker.
Been there since 2007 and I am 100% sure.

never mind...
I don't really know, because I never train striker...

People are using tech training on strikers with MID order for like ages
but tech is the same training effect for ATT and MID, it's only because of 10 training slots that striker trainers use MID order for tech
so tech training for strikers with ATT order won't be a problem anymore after the training reform
but striker training will remain effective only with ATT order if the training rules won't be changed

It will be so stupid if they don't change current rules, it's all nonsense. If I have players with 17~18/17~18 (Pace/Def) , I can't train them properly with DEF order.

If I want a less retarded striker, with higher 'playmaker', I can't put him on the pitch as ATT in order to give decent % of training. I need to choose between bad effectiveness on the pitch or training.

You can train him "defence" for ATT.
According to rules, defence can be trained with the same effeciency on all positions (DEF/MID/ATT)

I don't get the point, it has nothing to do with I just said...
The point is: Every decent player need a good level in 'playmaker' and 'passing', but those skills cannot be trained properly for GK, DEF and ATT orders, wich is a big nonsense of this game.

Seriously, it will be the stupidest thing if they don't change this training rules right in next season.
He wants to to train passing and playmaker for DEF order.
He is crying about that every month for over a year.

What if I want midfields that can shoot better? hahahaha come on
