19y
adequate [6] stamina poor [3] keeper
excellent [10] pace
excellent [10] defender
very good [9] technique
weak [4] playmaker
very good [9] passing
poor [3] striker

I have a question, is it worth training him in ATT and making him a striker with high defender? He has really great talent (came out as lever 16) Any advice?

no, train him as a defender or defensive midfielder

defmid is probably the best solution.
All out PM training till excellent, then pace until brilliant / magical

So you work towards

brilliant pace formidable defender
formidable technique formidable playmaker
formidable passing

spin to IsakM
He is a striker as much as he is keeper :)
Literally...

Defender or defensive midfielder all the way, he is way too old to get striking, he will be just an average striker or he could be a good DM or a defender with sideskills.

why do you recommend to start with playmaker? it was officially confirmed that it's always best to start training with pace and stop it only when it's finished

if he wants to sell him fast = train pm

if he wants to keep him for longer = train pace

Dtox is playing chess, not checkers.
He's misinforming people to make them weaker and ultimately, he'll be the strongest

+1

To dtox9s defence however, u21 nt team would like it that way

I will tell you why PM first...
High pace...low pm = asking for injuries!
You want him to be a defmid...so at U21 level...pace is a secondary skill.
What will he do with high pace without a clear def / mid or att skill? He will run with the ball alot and be the target of anyone who gets the chance to tackle him.

At least...the pm training is how to make him better in the short run first.
If it doesn't matter how he plays until he's done training...then it's the same for all players! Pace till divine...then the rest.

I want to prepare my team for penalties in a cup game. I know that attackers are the first ones who will take a shot, then midfielders, and at the end defenders and goalkeepers. If I have 2 attackers (10 and 11) and 4 midfielders (6,7,8,9) the order would be 10-11-6-7-8-9. If I make a change at the last minute and send the number 9 player to position 6, is he going to take the third penalty?
