that there can be just value 7 or 8 , and if no pop up is this week, there is not extra (decimal) benefit and pop up next week is just random :-) as in this week. This is wrong idea :-) , i know now.

Ok, now I understand. Thx

If I got it right, you meant that if a player has for example incredible+4 pace but it hasn't popped yet, does he run faster than a player with just incredible pace. And afaik yes he does.

yeah. its fact that he does..although i wouldnt think its much of a noticeable difference unless they were to run the entire pitch..

Just out of interest, how has this been proven in fact?

It enough to be noticeable in a race between a striker and a defender.
2009-01-30 18:17:06
Yeah, it's been stated somewhere in the past I'm quite sure. Can't remember exactly where though.

With form and stamina being exactly the same, with the "running from" point exactly the same, with exactly the same stamina degradation through the match to notice 0.3~ difference on somone's pace, right? ;o)

it is noticable when goalkeepers changing sides :)

ofcourse, we need take into consideration form, stamina and percentage of play but for sure we can find situations where these factors are comparable
2009-01-30 18:51:12
...and we have proof it has been done just like that, right? ;o)
2009-01-30 18:53:16
easier way is to compare value to see sublevels exist, if my understanding of value is anything to go by.
2009-01-30 18:54:13
And we have comparable players where all other skills are the same, right? ;o)
2009-01-30 18:56:17
probably somewhere. You'd have a better chance than clutching at straws looking at measuring movement in an animated match :p.

Guarantee sublevels exist though.
2009-01-30 18:56:47
sure there are, but noone found them yet :P

edit: couse noone was looking for them ;)

And we have proof that the sub-levels that definately do exist in the skills, are reflected on the pitch?
2009-01-30 19:01:10
Why wouldn't they be reflected on the pitch? Just because there's no difference in name doesn't mean there's no difference 'behind the scenes'.
The Sokker engine doesn't look at names, but at numbers. It doesn't see excellent, but 10.xx
