nope. Would get 45min pace training as DEF. Even with pace, if a player plays 2 different set orders (i.e ATT/DEF/MID) they'll only receive training for the later one. Says that in the rules ;).

And does talent have anything to do with disciplines and teamwork pops?

good question... IMO no.. they seem to me to be pretty straight forward... play a match they increase.. injury/sale/not play, they decrease

From the rules:

Training of defending (tackling the ball)

You can select the position that will train defending most effectively during the week, you can choose among ATT, MID and DEF. The remaining positions train slower.

Training of technique

Similar to defending, it is most intensively trained by the position selected for the current week.

I'm thinking of training my mids in defending. I can do this without "losing" training?

But if a player plays 45mins in league match and another 45mins in friendly, same position, he gets 90mins of pace training. Is that correct :)

yes! If you count that a player who plays 90 minutes in A-team he will get slightly more training.

if i win a game by default, do i still get training for pace?
2009-04-05 11:00:10
Yes, you don't lose training at all..
2009-04-05 11:17:25
but the game was not played at all, still hv training?
2009-04-05 11:17:53
Yes, you don't lose training if your opponent doesn't field up enough players..
2009-04-05 11:19:50
ok, thank you Matti! :)

Is their any hidden injury tendency for a player? Cos I bought a player, he got slightly injured in the first match, recovered to play in his second match, and then got a serious injured again !!!! He seems like to be in the hospital rather than in the field :(
2009-04-05 13:47:33
No there isn't. But if a player for example is very slow and has high technique then he is more likely to be fouled and thus more likely to get an injury.
2009-04-05 14:35:53
ah, I still believe there actually is. But officialy, there isnt :)

+1
