job..thought the same considering it was done at NT level this season
When I buy a player on transfer market, what is the probability I should expect that he has junior talent better than 4 week?
I would say 30/70 .... but better ask the manager!
If a player has talent graph like this, what would be his talent? About 3.5 or 4.5?
that's 4.5 - although if the coach was low skill you would adjust that
my experience tells me that 4.5 isnt bad talent ;)
i have a 4.33 talent (brilliant YC) who is 18 and popped to outstanding defender there this week in 4 weeks :)
lower levels mean faster pops.. overall age is vital IMO :)
lower talents are pretty rare... i wouldnt say there is that much difference in brilliant - magical - unearthly coaches... maybe 5% reduction in time between leach level... (i.e 4 week talent gets reduced by .2 between brilliant - magical and then 5% of 3.8 again from magical - unearthly)
i upgraded from brilliant with 33k wage to magical with 35k wage and have barely noticed much difference in longterm juniors in my school... think its more based on wage than general appraisal :P

of course, if you upgrade from a very good brillant coach (because of high wage) to a weak magical coach (nearly lowest wage) there is no big difference. wage meens subskills, too. not each brillant and magical youth coach are the same.
btw, 18y 4 weeks to outstanding defender is poor talent. ;)

Isn't it said in the rules that for junior coach only general appraisal matters? As far as I know, no matter wage is, same level means same effectiveness, that's why users always seek for a coach with lower wage...

yes thats right. :)
the development of a youth does depend on general apraisal and not on a single skill. you do not get eg better or more strikers out of your youth team if your YC has good striking skill.
but still all coaches with the same apraisal are not equal: generel apraisal depends on the average of all skills of the coach, and this average can be slightly higher or lower. a youth coach with average of 15,8 is better than a youth coach with an average of 15,3 - this is called the sublevel of coaches and thats whats looger is referring to. (and yes there are sublevels in an individual skill also, both for players and for coaches)

and as a result of genereal appraisal variations, there are price variations also :)
makes sense... there could only be .1 of a difference between my 2 coaches.. so i didnt see much improvement..

So a brilliant coach with higher average skill would be better as junior coach than a brilliant one with lower average skill?
yes - of course its only a slight difference.... i guess it is better to get a cheap brilliant coach. but teams which are quite wealthy sometimes take a high magical YC instead of an unearthly one....
