Playmaking is irrelevant for freekicks in my experience.

Passing is the only thing needed for indirect freekicks (and corners), and striking the only thing needed for direct freekicks.

Freekick taker needs to make decision to pass to the best positioned player, therefore pl is important

but mostly they just hit it forward - so it doesn't seem to matter as much as the other 2 skills

I go with MontyBurns and say that PM is completely irrelevant for freekicks and cornerkicks - otherwise keepers would need PM too (once greg said that freekicks and goalkicks are calculated the same way as far as I remember).

free's are kicked to the most forward person in the players range in my opinion.. and passing determines the accuracy of that kick

Can a GK random popp in goalkeeping? And do you have a estimate for how many weeks for a GK age 22-24 with 4 weeks talent?
