Firstly I am answering, because no one hasn`t done this before. I am not very sure about my answer, but here comes my theory.

The question is, can I still pick him up at 8:00 AM next saturday?

Imo that is possible. Lets say if his deadline was 9.00 AM, then you can bring him in next week 8.59...he should be unavailable for you at 9.00. Imo only his deadline time matters, update should not.

interesting question :)

you can play them based on the ratings they achieve for the team they're playing for anyway... if you dont know a players skills, but he is 5% higher than other players on the National team, chances are he's better :)
value is a decent one to..although obviously knowing the skills is way handier..

So there is no official answer for this? hope someone who was into this before answer...

Important:

How much does it cost to pull an unearthly coach just by chance (any skill on magical)? I know this question is difficult... but I don't want to overpay an unearthly coach in a bidwar, if there is an 80%-chance to pull a better one just by try...

skills: 7x unearthly 1x magical (stamina, for example... keeper would be better, but no one would fire such a coach...)

i heard about lucky bastrads who didn't pay more than 2 500 000 $ and pulled 2 or 3 unearthly coaches

i spend for searching them around 7 500 000 $ (sic) and got one so it seems i had bad luck... :)

im assuming his question is in terms of gaussian distribution...im not up to scratch on my maths recently.. but it would depend on the probability of the skill being unearthly when you select magical... and i dont have a clue how high that probability is.. and it also most likely drops when you select more than one skill as magical (as it says, the chances of finding a coach meeting your requirements are lower the more specific you are)

beats me, but if you just want one unearthly coach, then buy him i guess.. if you might be happy getting a few cheaper magical assistants, and maybe a new head coach who is unearthly in everything except keeper or something, then go through the recruitment, because even if you spend 4M the chances are you will get other decent coaches also that you needed, only thing is that doesnt guarantee a unearthly coach :)
also - you have to wait for unearthly on transfer market :)

i have wasted quite a lot of money for pulling an unearthly coach... and i got nothing except 3 fine brilliant assistants and two magicals... with very good skill distribution, of course. now i have the opportunity to buy an unearthly coach from a manager who wants to quit... and i think i will buy this coach... it is better to spend 5kk € at once than to waste 500k for nothing every now and then...

I sacked my unearthly (got him by 4 attempts) and he went for 3,5 M Euro on TL.

why did you sack him?

i got one at one stage also, but was way beyond me account limit at the time :)

15 weeks ago a player popped in technique and PM (both by generaltraining)
Last thursday he popped again in PM, but not in Tech. In those 15 weeks I only trained Pace and DEF. Is it a proof of a real randomfactor in training?

depends on your head coach skills and how high tech and pm are.

i assume that both skills were on the same level?

propably your coach isn't equal in his skills even if they all are unearthlies (different sublevels)

yes it was the same level... Sublevel of the skills of the headcoach will be the answer I think... (he is all unearthly)

anyway keep trace the progres of this player

maybe different skills are trained with different speed and it could be a good proof...
