is there any difference if a youth school player plays 90 or 45 minutes as far as coach's skill guesstimation being more or less accurate?

what about match marks? does it matter how much time is played?

a player with 25 mark in youth school, what mark will have in senior school once promoted?

plus has been done too, so problem seems to be solved :)

guessed skill...only plus players can see it?

no, school skill is the same for all. Starting with this season it's only a guess, before it was exact.

With the new youth school how i can know what players keep there? Because i can't know his talent because his level change constantly.

to decide who you keep and who you sack, age has become important now. For example you can sack players leaving school with 20 if they won't reach a very high end skill, independent from talent.

Just try to find your way regarding age and guessed skill. I think it hasn't become more difficult to decide than before.

yes, the accuracy depends on the time a player played.

I'd say less time makes better marks, because they don't have much stamina. Like seniors with similar stamina.

Check it out ;) Probably less - in school he has superdivine form, after school only very good. And in school there's the pace bonus.

This is a question for experienced managers :) Min. 3 years of sokker experience :)

If you had 48 000 000 $ (as example ;)) and you have 0 players and are willing to start over again. What would you do?

Staff is OK, Stadium is OK.. Only players would need to be bought.. What would you do?

edit: I'd prefer if you would answer me by mail :) Thank you :)

Depends on what goals you have ...

Short term success: Buy old players and you'll most likely be unbeatable for a couple of seasons which might be fun for some weeks, but I'm afraid it's not the right choice if you'd like to have a long term motivation.

Long term success: Buy young talented players and train pace. You could buy some players between 23-25 who have a lack of pace to be sure your a-team isn't too weak.
Could be that the Sundays aren't that funny, but surely on Thursday after the training you'll have a big smile!

Something in between: Train anything but pace and keeper, buy some nice trainees and some older players for the other positions.
You'll probably have good results and not a bad training.

It would be for long term :) And making as much money as possible :D

So i have to watch all the matchs, see his skills in there, realize who is good and not, and take a look of his age? Can i do something with his general level? Now what is his utility? [/u][/i]

Can i do something with his general level?

it looks like general level is in almost 85-90% accurate to one level difference. (with a magical youthcoach)

so only 10 to 15% of the players have a difference of 2 to the real total skill. And those players will not stay and stay on 2 levels difference, so in a couple of weeks you can see how good a player is.

I didn't mean his individual skills, it's too difficult to take them into account I guess. Just the (guessed) total skill (=general level of the junior) and his age. Most new juniors with maximum age (18) probably will be sacked in future, unless they can't reach a really high total skill in the end. Because you get no money for a 20yo excellent junior, even if he is talented.

yup:

before you decide on saturday, now better wait until thursday (even if you de not let them play, you get a free second estimation)
then, just midle the 2 estimations. You have a good estimation af his skill now. (as i said before in 85% or more of the cases you know the actual level within a range of 2, 1 better, 1 worse) use talent 4 to count on what level the player comes out of the youthschool. Is it ok, keep it, is it to low, get rid of him.

It is not as hard as some people shout.

After that you decide it for the first time you watch your kids every week. just look at the data you get. With the knowledge that most of the players are in a small area around the real skill you can see patterns and so you can make good decisions if you want to keep your youngster or not.

example:
17 weak 30 (thursday weak again)

it is week 3 now, so the player will be 19 when ready to be pulled
30/4=7,5
so the player is formidable (if he has realy a talent of 4 wat you only assumed)
if you think 19 year old formidable can be a profit in the long run you keep it, if not you fire him

if later turns out the player has a worse talent you can decide again.
It is my experience that an assumtion of 4 works pretty well. (i used it with old youthschool either.) But ofcourse it is up to you to use your own basic talent assumption to count on what level players will be when you pull them.
