should be logic if there is world club rankig list
2010-06-07 19:20:27
its asked like once every 2 weeks.. if you have basic maths (12+ yrs old and do decent math in school)
quite simple really

y = mx + n
y -> number of points that a team will win (os lose if it's negative)
x -> difference of ranking
m -> a constant: -0.02876
n -> depends on the match result, for example:

1-0 -> n=29.29
2-1 -> n=24.16
3-2 -> n=19.54
4-3 -> n=16.79
5-4 -> n=14.93
2-0 -> n=37.59
3-1 -> n=36.09
4-2 -> n=32.02
3-0 -> n=42.14
4-1 -> n=42.14
6-3 -> n=36.93
5-0 -> n=46.61
8-0 -> n=48.95

as for a list being made official.. put a post in bugs/ideas and maybe it will get noticed eventually.. probably next season or so

constant should be plus not minus isnt it?
2010-06-07 19:35:44
example:

My rating: 1000
opponents rating: 2500
I will win: 5-0

Y = - 0,02876 x 1 500 + 46,61
Y= 3,47
2010-06-07 19:36:28
If constant is plus than Y = 89,75
2010-06-07 19:43:06
in your example x should be -1500.

own rating - opponents rating..

but yeah i guess it can be done either way really...

most people will put themselves first when working the difference between rankings...

EDIT and yes your math is ok, but you would gain the 89 rank points :)

as for who you play it doesnt matter.. foreign or domestic

there was a plea to change friendlies so there is only 1/2 the change to ranking points in those as some people dont take them serious, however it has remained the same :)

i dont know if junior matches have an effect on rankings, but i doubt it.. they do affect fanclub mood however

how do you calculate n?
2010-06-07 19:52:57
those are the numbers i have available.. no idea..

basically when they brought out NT, the first games that happened someone managed to make the formula from it (as everyone had 1600 ranking so the difference between ranking was void hence n could be found depending on the results...
2010-06-07 19:56:02
good idea, I will try to adjust those numbers to a function, and will try to write my findings later...
2010-06-07 19:57:27
awesome :)
EDIT: there may be more available also if you look around.. it was said somewhere the formula is based on the elo standard or soemthing..

how big is diference between training pace and striker?
85 : 100?
2010-06-10 19:07:36
people say training pace takes 25% longer than normal

and training passing is 10% shorter than others

so striker, tech, PM defender are all the same speed

personally i have no idea

sure for me

and training passing is 10% shorter than others

some managers found out that pm and ps are trained equal, because players had both ups together two times only with general training. Maybe pm is 10% faster too, but I rather guess that this theorie is wrong.

imho pace is even slower - around 30-40%

passing and playmaker seems to be a fastest to train

some att trainers claims also that striker training is slower than tech but faster than pace
