the same? i dunno if there is a difference... but yeah maybe 10% reduction in skills so... and it alwasy seems like a lot more IMO.

defenders with low side skills get low ratings....

but i would say, do not look to much at the numbers, look just on what you see in the matches. That is what realy counts.

And this guy gets 35-40 ratings lol

it depends also on actions on the field. If such a player only has to do defending stuff his number is higher then when he plays offending too....

/edit: look for goalkeepers, when they have nothing to do they will have very low numbers too :)

and also if you play him as central def or winger.

32 rating had 6% 8% offence and defence in last game
20 rating had 3% 1%

make sense of it yourself. its like keepers who do nothing get crap ratings also. you will notice defenders get higher than normal ratings when playing better teams, as they have more to do.
in this case, 3 central defenders, if they hvae wingers, the defender is going to be going wider to tackle them, or run into the space after a ball, so they are involved a lot more.. hence the higher activity and higer rating.

also there can be subskills.. maybe he has average tech, weak PM, average passing almost, whereas the other doesnt.

as was stated above, ratings dont count for much really when it comes down to it..

I have a few questions. I have 1 main coach (weak) and 3 excellent asst coaches. I am training pace.

1) 17-18 yo players take 4 weeks from good to solid.. Is it poor, normal or very good talent?
2) 18 yo player take 4 weeks from solid to very good.. Is it poor, normal or very good talent?
3) 17-18 yo players take 4 weeks from adequate to good.. Is it poor, normal or very good talent?

we need to know the skill of the headcoach on the skill you train and we need to know about what skill it is all about. pace is a slower training then striker for example.

and then we can not tell a lott with only 1 full pop, we need 2 full pops or even better 3... with only one full pop it is a lot of guessing because the hidden numbers.

minimum possible talent is 3,25 if i am not wrong
so this wolud be between 3-4

the second and fourth do not have good talent. (Fourth can be reasonable talent... but i doubt it) The first and third need some more pops to see. But on first see it looks ok.
