do you do decent math?

no need to insult me. this kind of math is elementary school, you cannot even call it decent, it's basic. here are the numbers before the match:

my ranking: 3411.31
opponent: 1570.49
x = 1840.82

y = mx + n
y = -0.02876*1840.82 + 48.95
y = -52.94 + 48.95
y = -3.99

so i was supposed to lose points. like i said, i gained. there must be something wrong in the formula and i pointed out the difference hoping somebody with more data and better math than mine can correct it.

Hello friends. Is there an easy way to see the rankings of all the teams in my group and the overall ranking of my league group ? Because the only way i can find is go to every team in my group on the owners page and see the individual ranking , something difficult. Also this way i cannot see if my league is high in rankings or not.

Is there an easy way to see the rankings of...
What kind of rankings?
As Team class is a hidden data for others it can't be ranked.
For country manager points ranking just clic on your points in front page. :)

Suppose i want to see two things :
1. how difficult my league is
2. the ranking points of all the teams in my league

How quickly can i do that ? Clicking to all the teams in my league or there is another easier way ?

i think there's also some sort of redistribution of available ranking points at work because this game seems to like that (fan club, sponsors ... work by this principle). this would mean that if enough teams start up or disappear out of the game you would see unexpected figures.

afaik you have to click the teams in your league to see the ranking points. that does not really tell you how difficult your league is either unless you start comparing with other leagues.

these numbers are just indications anyway, ranking points do not tell you that an opponent is going to use this or that possible team against you for example or that his star striker will be in form or not...

1-You can visit Dream Team Web II (first at all select country) to compare rating marks; so you can make an idea of how strong is your league. I think plus users also have this and other features.

2-For ranking points there is only overall country ranking in country page menu. (also clicking on your points under picture in your club's page)

But if you want to know how important is your club you must compare fans club size and this is a hidden parameter for other users. So the only way to compare real class is asking and showing fans club; mainly in forums.

Thanks my friend. You were extremely helpful.

A pleasure, mate. ;)

i think there's also some sort of redistribution of available ranking points at work because this game seems to like that (fan club, sponsors ... work by this principle). this would mean that if enough teams start up or disappear out of the game you would see unexpected figures.

you mean if a bot team with a ranking of 2000 is replaced, the new team has 1600 points, the dissapearing 400 points would be distributed to all remaining teams? (from that country or from the game)

that does not seem to happen. after that match i gained 9.67 points and the opponent lost 9.67. if there would have been some sort of addition of points, those numbers should have been different.

let's take into consideration the initial formula posted here. i was supposed to lose 3.99 points and the opponent was supposed to gain 3.99. if there were points to be redistributed, and both teams would have received 13.66, i would end up with a gain of 9.67, but the opponent would end up with a gain of 17.65 . instead, he lost 9.67. therefore, there was no redistribution.

if i think about it, the demonstration would be easier if i would add the initial and and final ranking points of both teams. the result is the same, so there was no addition or substraction of points.

the only possible explanation is that the formula is not accurate.

What happens if a ATT gets injuried and I have this on bench:

1 GK
3 DEF
1 MID

Who replaces the ATT?
2010-09-18 19:53:19
As I experienced the closest player (the MID) will come in
2010-09-18 20:07:08
on page 434, I think it's right (there is a special order):

2010-09-11 23:05:40
Wybo an Fanakick

(right position)
MID
ATT
DEF
GK

but for goalkeepers I see DEF is checked first so sequence is:

(GK)
DEF
MID
ATT

there was a question abuot this by anaconda a while back and the player who came on was first in the list of subs afaik. this was for a game vs bot who had 2-3 injuries or players missing so maybe different scenario

Is it better to stay at 5th place rather than 4th? I mean if I'm the 5th I can play a playoff match, which guarantees a win, ticket revenue and extra training at week 15. Anyone know about fan mood effect after such win?
2010-09-19 11:13:20
I'd be more worried about the fan mood effect if you accidentally lost ;)
