I'd be more worried about the fan mood effect if you accidentally lost ;)
No I won't, unless my goalie gets a red card
A GK can not get a card :)
(not anymore at least)

See how many players'll get injured/RC'd ;)
In all seriousness, a team in Div.II had a huge rating advantage, 18-1 shots, lost 1-0 and got demoted.

well if it's then I will have face it
return to my question:
Is it better to stay at 5th place rather than 4th? I mean if I'm the 5th I can play a playoff match, which guarantees a win, ticket revenue and extra training at week 15. Anyone know about fan mood effect after such win?

subskills.. there are examples of coaches of those skills who are unearthly head coaches
What are secondary skills for DEF's? except speed and is pm imprtant for FW's?
For center back technique to tackle without fault and keep a passing ball is pretty important for me. Some PM is needed to decide where pass ball, and some passing to do it well.
the few things a defender with pace and tackling does right is just that ... running and tackling. if you want one who can control a ball, 'read' the game and give some passes you'll also need: technique, playmaking and passing.
which skills a field player need more depends on how you want them to act so the division between defender, midfielder and striker is not a strict one but the one thing you hardly ever need for a defensive player is scoring, unless you develop pretty weird tactics where they are also supposed to score.

Does anyone know if stamina will train on an injured player? I know stamina trains everyone, but I'm assuming that the player must be match ready in order to train?
only def skill matters for defenders to tackle imo
technique so they recieve the ball better and it doesnt go to a striker.
pm so they get rid of the ball quicker. anything below ~good they take long time to decide what to do with the ball (depends how high up the pitch they are usually)
passing then determines the accuracy of the pass.. if they have high passing its useless if they wont deicde how to pass it.
but obviously pm wont matter too much either if they have really high tech and strikers dont have high enough level to steal the ball back :)

I think technique is extremely important in the back, even more so than passing and PM. I for one love to play against DEF's without technique, they so often give you easy goals by missing their controls.
