technique

a typical example of this is training striker for ATT positions. players with MID order get ~50% of normal striker training also

strange i'm training ATT striking for 2 seasons, and none of my mids ever poped up in striking :D

co-traniners:
2xmagical
1x incredible

your mids are too old to pop?
2011-01-16 19:49:14
as reddevil said, players maybe too old.. its 50% training. so for a 20 year old who will pop in 4 weeks, this means he will take 8 weeks with MID order.

when he is 24 that is like 2x longer. instead of 8 weeks its 16 weeks...and times like that are hard to notice.

it only applies to striker training, not tech

Dear Sokker Admins,
I'm writting because I got bored of losing and I have a question. You engine is set up that player would play like in real life or that the team with lower average mark should lose?
Sincerely , Me

Well I'm not admin but it's a balance. Good tactics Vs Bad Tactics can overcome a roughly 10 point average but almost never more than that.

an example where a difference more than 10 points ended up a win for the weaker side :)
2011-01-16 20:12:06
And this example is 1 of 1000? or 100000? And I believe "Guatemale" didn't such THING for 3 matches in a row...

I ment France

Well after the Guatemala match, they lost to Russia, which is also weaker :)

Besides, i've checked your last performances, and i see that you do not fully dominate the opponent(tactically). And i am sure your strikers don't have very high skill in striking. You should take as factors of influence : form, skill of opposite players and your own, also there just may be a short period of unlucky results.

It's not that rare to be quite honest. I know I've pulled off results with a 10 point disadvantage 4 or 5 times at least and it's not terribly difficult but you do need to be facing a manager who is verging on inept.

Don't walk away from the question...
2011-01-18 15:31:25
height is important for goalkeepers?
2011-01-18 15:32:26
yes i think.
2011-01-18 15:43:29
if i'm not wrong, the engine sets the players comportament by the team ranking/average mark: if you have a team that is lower placed, your players mess the most of the balls. only with super-tactics and lot of luck you can win. when the difference is big, you have no chance. so, moderate your expectations!
fair/unfair - that's an other debate. ;)
