It is hard to say...

but the week after the bonusses are a risky time to list players too. there can be high prices but also slow or brokedown servers.

max youth talent was 3. that equates to 1 week pops in lower skills when being trained in main team after and stuff...
players with 2.67 talent in youth school there is just the variation in the coaches estimation so they are shown to have this talent but realistically the best they can have is 3 (or well it was 3.09 but everyone just calls it 3)

when they appear to have 2.67 they probably do have max talent though :)

i used to find that cheaper players are great to sell around the bonus as players that are worth 15k.. well all the people buying at these prices now have an extra bit of money so bid high :)

better players with values around 1M,2M well i think peak price times around week 2-3 last season... people see their teams in first game or 2 and maybe think they need better player here etc is what i assumed...
it changes every season though so there is no best time. just hope to get lucky or arrange a price beforehand :)

thanks :)

an other question is that we have 17 levels of coaches ,what is the effect in training from a level to an other level ?
(for youth coach talking)

talking again about youth talent, sometimes there are players that stay 10 weeks and pop 4 times. with this data could i assume to have an incredibly talented player? if not, how many weeks do you assume to be enough for sorting out a talent?

cheers

It depends on the player, but at least around 15 weeks.

4 4 4 5 5 5 6 6 6 and 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 are to close to say the first one is good and the second one is not. ofcourse most of the time you see what it is, but sometimes you are tricked in the beginning.

Thank you Wybo/kenyard.

~0.2 difference in talent per level of coaches.

it depends on the popping.. obviously if he was on a 7 to begin with then drops to 6 and or a 5 and rises to 9 over the rest of the weeks its hard to tell. then he can have only popped 2 levels or less in that time which is a lowish talent (but still reasonable)

its very hard to tell talents in the YS i find..i mean i just looked at one of mine. he went from 5-9 in 19 weeks..
so 4 pops in that time. what i find is that the first 5-10 weeks the player pops are all very random. after this time you can begin to see somewhat of a graph appearing and can almost ignore the first few weeks to get an idea of talent.
it can be a good idea to use some of those programs available (people have linear regression done in excel files) they do give quite a good idea of talent. just are tedious to use...
the new system is only around what, 3 seasons now? there isnt that much information available on it yet.. generally what i do find is what i said though. first few weeks are hard to tell talent (so youths with only a few weeks its almost impossible to tell their levels) after that the graphs become somewhat clearer

My excelsheet uses a better algorytm then lineair regression (but lineair regression function is also used as one of the alternative functions.)

so a level 9-10 coach for youth coach is good ,thanks

My advise is to start with level 11 youthcoach, but not the first weeks. First make sure you have young players (you have, great) and make sure you have the right unearthly stamina coach and 1 good/solid assistant. When this is all done you can train stamina for a few weeks. When this is done you have a better idea of the Income and Expenses of your club and how much you can spend on your youthtrainer and juniorteam. That's what I would say :)

Always good to ask questions first before spending your money! That's a wise move :)

Maybe this is a good topic to read if you want to learn a bit more:
