indeed thats what i have.
my argument was i prefer organiser, as talents are fairly accurate
((current skill - starting skill) / weeks)
whereas viewer just has number of pops / weeks meaning most talents are

it records skills every week for players so you can see how much they are increasing over time. google
sokker organiser
sokker viewer

update data. and update once a week - every thursday after updates.

after 5-6 weeks you should have a agood bit of info with which to work from :)

you can estimate ys talent by youself without using any software,
just count difference between final and initial skill and number of weeks, even 8yo kid can do that.

sokker organiser does that automatically.

27 / (14-7)

sure..i can do 25 of those per week.... if im bored...

i may as well open an excel file and update data manually every week for each player also. wud take same time

for me sv is better anyway, for you so
so lets finish this empty conversation please

btw: i never look at talent estimated by sv or so or other "machines", im always do it by myself

then for examble a junior with beggining level 6. adequate and 25 weeks to go after 5 weeks in y.s. has 68868 = 5/1=4 or 5/2=2.5 ?

number of weeks passed / (current level - starting level)

its a general estimate. so say a player is, over 12 weeks

4-4-3-5-5-4-5-5-6-6-5-6-7

12 / 7-4

= 12/3 = talent 4

approximately. if there are 20 weeks left. you can assume he will gain 5 more levels (his talent is 4 so every 4 weeks he increases 1 level)

its a general estimate. currently talents are annoying. you have to guess a lot what the actual levels are. there are programs do it better via regression, which is more accurate
but takes a while to do manually ;)
this wya is simple and gives you an ok idea.

the above. i could say after 2 weeks he was on 3, so over those 10 weeks after, he popped to 7. so 10/7-3 = 2.5 max talent.

theres lots of variation. you can only estimate talent and hope its right

in your example. 6/8/8/6/8 i mean thats impossible to tell. from what i said its 5/(8-6) so talent 2.5
but you can see he is just increasing and decreasing around the same value so next week could be 6 again. (then talent is 0)
this is what i mean about talents being hard to see. you can only hope players are progressing. and after around 10 weeks its usually clearer to see.

thanks

I wanted to ask , when you make an arrangement with someone to sell your player to a specific price , what you do then ? you transferlist your player with starting price the price you agreed or something else happens ( for example you set starting price 0 and wait for the buyer to bid at the arranged price ?)
2011-12-29 20:14:07
It depends on how i trust the other person :)
2011-12-29 21:54:22
indeed. there have been cases before where people dont bid the agreed amount.
other times they dont get online to make the bid they agreed near the end

sometimes they make the bid immediately.
varies with person

the talent according to plus in your first example would be 4.33 and 6/8/8/6/8 would give a talent of 5

however just don't consider linear regression to be a fixed number with such a limited number of weeks: there's too much variation in weekly estimations possible so the plusformula is bad when it comes to working with such a limited number of weeks.
i've seen players who finally had a similar talent after 22-25 weeks of measuring compared to the estimations in the wybo excell-sheet (which starts to be effective to pin down talent after around 15 weeks in a lot of cases, sometimes sooner but frequently also later)

whats the highest stamina level someone has ever pulled a youth at?

just wondering if similar to youths having a max level of excellent +++ in normal skills, are youths also only a % of their max stamina (i.e they are capped at formid stamina, so maybe max they can be is adequate/good?

dont think iv seen above adequate
2011-12-30 06:51:28
i think good is the max stamina a youth can have, i'm 95% sure anyway ;)
2011-12-30 10:45:39
good is correct

ask MatzeG if you want to know more about stamina skill influence on youth skill distribution... He's the man for maths questions ;)

So i've never got a real answer about question how stamina counts on skill sum?
