Is it possible to get some orientation how talent is proportional to pops. like if i have talent 4 how my player should pop on pace ? any examples ?

pm takes exactly the same time as passing to pop.

pace is estimated to be 25% slower to train than most other skills

It depends also on age and coaching staff.... i cant give a certain answer to you

Have you ever seen somthing like that ?

19154751

Shooting excellent at junior game report ,seems wrong estimate.

I think its possible. maybe all 3 strikers have around excellent striking.

not bad :)
be interesting to see the skills those youths have.

i think that statistic is based on the players who shoot in the game (so mids can lower it), but considering all 3 strikers had shots they probably all have decent skills

Hmmm, I can't stop thinking about discussion with one "HG" (FM12 xD) user on my player's TA .. :D So, I would like to know, which opinion is more correct, if any ...

TA topic

there's no reason to assume that even the first or last value is always correct so a 'guesstimation' like wybo does is usually about the safest approach when it comes to talent, preferably indicated as a value in between possible limits.

an example of one of my current players:

5 7 7 7 7 7 9 7 8 8 9 9 9 8 9 9 10 10

miracle child or just something going wrong for the first pop? all i know is if you have a guy like this who also makes a big pop at the end of his series you're going to get a weird talent, one which most probably will not represent the real value of his talent.

Well, I'm sure that 2.38 cannot be the correct talent value, hehe, but, if you look at his 12 and 13 pops, you'll see that there's no drops, and yup, he actually came out with incredible pool sum +/-

And how did I assume when the level is fixed as, again proximately, a correct one, well, from when he start playing games, first few weeks, coach will count that, somehow ... I guess that's the only proper way to do so ... xD

btw, Wybo, nice graph

If you want to produces them yourself you can download the excelsheet here: talentprediction

I didn't say that I get it, just that it looks nice! xD

haha :)

It is not that difficult.

the green line is what the coach gives as numbers. (blue)
the 2 yellowlines (red and green) gives an estimation of the real talentvalues.

if you will count the differences between the green and the bue and the red and the blue lines in the graph you will see it is both 10. (try to make one with a talent of 4 and you'll see it will not be possible with less difference)

(it start making sences after around 10 to 15 weeks)

This thing is almost the same as counting all weeks divided from number of pops, right ?
2012-03-11 14:27:47
No way, far from that.

it use all data and looks for the best talentprediction taking all data in consideration.
