He will definitely not get 100% of maximum training. For 100% training a player needs to play 2 full official matches in a week. A game for national team gives half the training of one official match, so your player will get training equal to one friendly and one half of a league game, which is not 100% of maximum training.
He should get more training than a player who played in league only, though, if that is what you understand by 100%.

How do you know that so certainly? That 100% is only 2 full official matches? There is no way for you to know that for sure..

greg said it. I think it was also in some news years ago?

What i remember is that he said "2 matches" and that he was asked if he ment also friendly + NT and that the answer was yes.

That is what the dutch mod said who asked this.

Yeah Gregs says lot of things..like for example that there is difference between 1st and 2nd half in terms of received training..and now go figure..

I agree that it is not always easy to understand what greg means, when he answers questions about the game, since his english skills are not the best ;)

What you mean is probably, that training is not linear, so a player who plays only the first half gets more than half the training of a player who plays the full match. You could say, that the first minutes give more training than the last minutes, although this is a bit misleading.

Yes that's what I (or Greg) meant. It might be like that, although we will never now for sure.
Anyway I don't think there is a big difference between 2 full official matches and 1 official match+1 friendly (or even half)

Maybe someone did a research or from past experience can give me details on question "Is it worth building a roof on seats?"

If you have money to spend than it is a good investment, but it takes a long time to earn them back..It depands on weather a lot, but speaking from my experience you can put about 50% more price on tickets and expect the same attendance.

I bought a player who popped 2 to 6 and 7 pace in a team with 3 magical assistants and i trained him pace too and he popped 4 to 8 with 2x brilliant and one outstanding coach (difference 45 to 40) is that the case ? it doesnt seem that such small assistant difference could affect talent so much.Any ideas?

considering he was 2 weeks to 6 it does seem unlikely..
was playing only friendlies each week?
2 games in a week is a lot more training (imo ~25% more compared to friendly only)
2012-05-10 10:48:39
get this: when he popped to 6 he played 1 90min friendly and 1 90min league, when to 7 2 friendlies 90 minutes. and when i train him to 9 he played 90league + 23 friendly, 90 friendly, 90 league + 44 friendly and didnt pop to 9 thats why its crazy. He didn't really popped to 9 yet but 3 these trainings with 2 of them more than just friendly and he didnt pop.

to 8 he needed either 1 friendly and 2 leagues or 3 league games. Damn this doesnt seem logical.I gave him 23mins and again 44 mins in friendly to add but he didnt pop.I thought when a player pops 2 to good he should pop 3 weeks to at least excellent. How could this be? very very high sub skill could be it ? then he should pop to 10 in 3 weeks after this.

i've had 2 to very good pace, then 4 to excellent pace before if this helps.
