So you are asking what´s a difference between two? I think no one hasn`t conducted any research, but talking about my own experince - I think the difference isn`t as big as we think. Three magical assistants are definitely a waste of money.
I have trained pace during the last months and what I can say is that if player is talented, then there doesn`t seem to have any difference. Several of my 19yo trainees popped to excellent/formidable pace in four weeks, a 22yo popped to very good in 4 w. Theoretically my younger ones might get their pops one week faster...But I guess they have to supertalented for this and my players are not (according to previous managers). I have 3 very good assistants, had worse assistants when these pops occured as far as I remember.
Just my opinion...

thanks for your opinion .

OK there is no difference in main training and i agree with you. But what about random pop ups. Is there a diggerence there ?
2012-08-27 13:00:13
I can't believe that there isn't defference.
Why then we found coach level 17 ?
Maybe coach with level 16 give as 100% .But in rules says that your first coach need to have level 16 in what you train and the 3 assistants help the main coach.

I don't want to go in training via money if it worth but what is the best choise.

Should i give more skills in my first coach rather to give a boost to assistant's ?
(if i want to have maybe more random ,yes but how mush the assistants help the first in training !!!

And what is the difference in that.

I am sure there is a difference between coaches, but it might not be visible.

Some domain links wont work for custom css file?

yeah hed coach is priority.
starting its best have 2-3 solid/very good assistants and head coach who is unearthly in all skills being trained. e.g striker head coach unearthly pace, tech, striker

cheap as possible then.

assistants help training they say, but im up to 2x magical and 1x brilliant assistant and training hasnt improved dramatically.. i still just get same ~3 general training pops every week

where i think they help is when general training skills which are high..
2012-08-27 17:56:27
I agree with kenyard about the head coach.

GK training head coach: unearthly keeper + passing + pace (high stamina would be nice)
DEF training head coach: unearthly defender + pace, and as high as possible stamina (high technique + playmaker would be nice)
MID training head coach: unearthly playmaker + passing + pace, and as high as possible stamina (high technique + defender would be nice)
ATT training head coach: unearthly striker + technique + pace, and as high as possible stamina (high playmaker would be nice)

And about the assistants I think 3 incredible (13) assistants with each a max wage of ±21 000 $ is good enough, if you can affort this ofcourse. Or else for example very good (9) max wage ±5 000 $ or excellent (10) max wage ±8 000 $ assistants is also fine. (use these skills + max wages parameters to search for assistants on the transferlist and choose the ones with the lowest wages)

i have a question about this new "Pitch condition and type" feature. i looked it up in rules/stadium, but there is no explanation whatsoever.
so, my question is - whats it all about - how do i influence the condition, etc.
i keep using low maintenance, sometimes even four times a week, to keep it at 50% (using the cheapest grass).

and i would also like to express the baffled state i am in because of this feature - a manager must run around the field and order maintenance, while having all the club of helpers behind him/her.
its absurd and annoying is what i think. if i need to spend extra money for the condition of the field, why cant i just choose the desired condition and let the money be subtracted at the end of the week (or some other way of automation).

anyhow, let me rephrase my question - how do i manage this field condition thingy in the easiest way, the way that would take the least thinking/energy and lastly least money.

thank you all in advance

The condition of the pitch decreases when matches are played or when the weather is very hot or wet (low effect). It increases at the daily update, when the weather is NOT too hot or too wet. You can increase the regeneration rate by having a high maintenance value. You can buy two packages of maintenance, 50% and 100%. If you buy such a package the value adds up to the value of maintenance you had before (e.g. you had 35% maintenance and buy 50% then you'll end up with 85%). The value of maintenance decreases by 5% at each update.

The higher the pitch condition, the lower the chance to get an injury on that pitch. Therefor you would want to have a high condition if you play at home, to avoid injuries. Also the ball bounces badly on a bad pitch.

From my experience this feature doesn't need that much attention. You choose one type of grass and pay the costs once. After that you might need to buy maintenance, once it reached 0% (or any low value). If you don't have bad luck with the weather or many home games in a row, then you can keep the pitch condition around its starting value (which is 50% for the cheapest grass and in steps of 10% up to 100% of the most expensive grass). I have bought the second most expensive grass. After that I let maintenance drop down to 0% (this takes 20 days). I didn't buy a new full package right away, because the grass already regenerates (slowly) even without maintenance, so if there is no home-game in the near future you can go with 0% maintenance for a while.

If you want to keep your maintenance above 50% though, you will need to buy a 50% package every 10 days. This will result in the following seasonal costs, which you should have in mind, when choosing the grass type:

seasonal costs for maintenance, when buying the 50% every 10 days:

Garden - 7 000 $
Amateur - 14 000 $
Semi - 35 000 $
Professional - 70 000 $
Finest - 140 000 $
Angel - 175 000 $

My suggestion would be, choose the grass with the seasonal maintenance costs, that suit you best and pick that grass type. Then either buy a 50% package of maintenance every 10 days, or let maintenance drop to 0% and buy a 100% package if you are near a home-game (~3 days). The first one is easier, the second one might save you just a little bit of money, when having 0% maintenance, but you risk having a not-perfect pitch if you are unlucky with the weather during those few days before your home-game.

Why cant I send away players from my U21-list, who have red card? A bug?

Just a guess, maybe you can't send them away between U21 and senior-NT-matches. Otherwise the NT-coach could call the player and he sits out his red card at the senior national team.

I've just reopened my junior school, 5 players joined, all 5 are tragic, is this because they start at this level from default now or am I really, really unlucky?
