We all learned new things in the past by mistakes because we didn't do them before ;)

yesterday i allready got one of these before i could finish the last day:

does anyone know if i will ever be able to continue my updaterequests as a scout? because there are actually 7 players where the deadline ends today XD

is level of youth players related to the coach in the school? today I got 4 new players and all of them shown as tragic. Is it just bad luck or is it because I dont have a coach in my youth school?

the youth coach doesn't help the quality of new players joining the team, however you do need one to asses there starting level. without a youth coach assigned to your youth squad there is no one to appraisal there skills, therefor it is shown that your new players have all tragic skills (until next training day when you have a youth coach)

Then the estimations of your youth coach will stay crappy and you will never know who the talented juniors are and which juniors you should reject, and because of this you will most probably also not make a nice profit with your youth school as you can't show good talent graphs when selling your juniors. Also the juniors won't become that much better with a crappy youth coach.

Best would be to start with a formidable youth coach, one of these:
Youth coach FORMIDABLE general appraisal (as low wage as possible)

Or else one of these if formidable is to expensive, an exellent youth coach:
Youth coach EXCELLENT general appraisal (as low wage as possible)

thanks for the answer and the helpful set of links. To be honest I had an account a while ago, so I'm not a complete newbie.

My thinking with a youth school right now is to allow some players to come in just to see if i can get some 16 year old players at the start of the season. I remember they can reach really high prices even with really poor skills so its worth to open the school just for that purpose.

I might set up an actual youth school later if I have some extra money

Indeed, and they still do, even with just a few low skills :)
