Now, I have a brilliant (14). Does it worth to have a 15 or 16? Tell me about your experiences?

i upgraded to magical, but only because i moved my brilliant YC into assistant role.
difference is minor for increasing talents, with new system its not worth investing much in getting a new coach. if you can get one cheap that has low wage then sure.

Why do you say that it is not worth investing much in the new system. My understanding was that the effect of coaches regardless of their coaching level is unchanged between the old and new system. So if it was worth it to upgrade to a magical coach in the new system then it should be worth it in the new system, correct?

The thing is, in the old system, you would get better graphs with a better coach - for sure. It could make a difference if a player popped 4-4-4-4 or 4-4-4-3 for example. With the new system, your youths will still grow a bit faster with a better coach, but the graphs are so random that everything above level brilliant is not worth it IMHO.

Ok, I just wanted to make sure that my understanding, as Kreator pointed out was the same as the developers understanding. Basically, your youths will improve faster with a better coach you just won't notice it because of the non-linear talent graphs, right? My point was only that, regardless of whether we notice it or not, the youths still grow at a faster rate with a better coach.

Yes, that's still true. The initial question was whether upgrading to 15/16 is worth it in general though, that's why kenyard thought it isn't.

is there a way to get your plus activated sooner? I'm waiting for 2 days and I really need it. Is there an admin or something who administer this?

yes but if you could show good graph in old system that alone could sell a mediocre junior skillsum wise, where as now, it moreover only matters if the skillsum is high.... so yes, it might be worth saving the money, especially because wage grows rapidly per level and coach level gives less extra per level....

someone had shown max talents possible with each level of coach..
unearthly was like 3.14 talent youths
brilliant was maybe 3.3-3.5 or something. the difference is very small, but there is a difference.
the thing is back then you kept a youth for 4-8 weeks and knew his talent was below 5 and if not you sacked him.
now you keep most based on age.
i assume most people do this as its what i do.
yes its better to have a higher level coach. i know a number of people mentioned they sacked their unearthly coaches even with new system. price difference is a bit rediculous from magical-unearthly for maybe a 3% increase in skill pops over 30 weeks (thats 1 week training benefit)
if you can afford it. do it. if its gonna put you on the edge then dont.

the youth system is in bits at the moment also with dropping numbers in the game. market will be crushed for another 4-5 seasons unless we get a 10,000user increase soon.
its possible it happens with the new android apps etc and imo it has huge potential if there is apps specifically made... but it wont be for a while

I appreciate all the input regarding the frustration with the new system and limitations it presents. I've done a lot reading on the subject but don't have any experience as I just started my school a couple of weeks ago. This will help me in my decision making process of weeding out the bad juniors. I'm currently trying to upgrade from an incredible coach to brilliant but I can't see myself going up to magical as the wage increase is quite steep.

its not terribly frustrating either. i just assume talent 4 for everyone and see if they will come out at a half decent level for their age.
