The Juniors’ Coach

You need to assign a youth coach to ensure that your juniors are trained. His general appraisal will determine how quickly the juniors will improve their skills. He will also decide when a player is ready for testing in the first team line-up. Your junior coach’s general skill decides on how accurately the general skill of each junior is estimated. The higher the coach level, the more exact the junior level determined. Also, the more matches your junior plays, the more adequately the coach knows his total skill and shows it to you.

Yes, but where exactly does it say "if you don't have a coach, a junior will automaticaly be determined as tragic"?

They should leave it blank instead of tragic

When you login on saturday around the time new youth is comming to the club. All players start at tragic. Afther that it takes a few minutes before this is changed.

So the youthcoachevaluation happens after you get the players, not on the same moment.

Yes, and they should also rephrase the line you wrote.
The way I interpret it is that the coach helps the estimation of a juniors skill. So I've always thought that having no coach just meant that the estimation wouldn't be accurate.

it means there is noone to estimate it = no estimate. which is what he said it should be blank and not say tragic...
can whoever can edit rules pm me some stage if wanted and i will reword it for them. will need 1-2 days after pm.

My sugestion: Rewrithe the whole rules.

And my second sugestion, when things change, greg should not let it go live untill it is changed or added to the rules too.

If a friendly tourney takes place with a number of teams, so that some teams will have i.e. 5 home and 6 away, is the ticket prices then done 50/50 for each match, or is some teams just gonna have less income from tickets???

I have also suggested this on the linquist forum. At the moment it's a long boring text most managers don't even want to read. Make it more fun to read and use videos when possible. And I think the rules should be split into 2 sections 'Rules' and 'Game play', as not all in the rules is about the rules, infact, most isn't rules. And by spliting it into 2 sections both sections won't be as long as it is right now. I think more managers than will take the time to read it.

yeah true. rules are rules.
gameplay is gameplay.
there should be something on tactics editor also.
and a few other things too
