though I must say one thing is weird. sokker rules in estonian say that I can be banned I wish not to keep playing the game. but apparently it doesn´t apply in rules in other languages

well I don´t really see a way how one could make fool of himself in an online game

its more or less to say the same as if I go to a bank and say I want my account closed, it is making fool of myself. because I could´ve just not go to the bank and wait few months until they deactivate my account

yep, you got him there. thinking about addictive things could spring up more ideas why getting banned is better.

I do, and there are many examples, also on the Sokker forum. In fact, the internet is the perfect place to make a fool of yourself, even if it is anonymously. The ones acting like that know they are being idiots on purpose and that should be enough to not do it.

And about the bank account example, just ask an admin to close your Sokker account, the same as your bank example.

well for me it sounds the same as saying that lets say some guy in some movie made fool of himself. let´s face it, nobody cares = nobody has made fool of himself. imo u can only make fool of yourself infront of people you know, not in some virtual world. unless the virtual world is your real world.

and I still don´t understand why is requesting to close your account as something childish? when you want quit school, u take out your papers. when you leave your job, u take out your papers. you don´t just dissappear or wait until someone does something with your things

I asked 3 admins to close. all of them said no. I even contacted a polish admin who has been an admin for probably 8 years or something. he said no and stoped reading my mails after that

and even the rules in estonian language state that they should close my account if I ask so..

Asking someone to close your account ofcourse isn't childish, but doing things to get a ban is childish. These 2 things are something completely different.

And ofcourse you can make a fool of yourself with people you don't know, it doesn't matter if you know those people or not, you always have to look in the mirror at the end. It's about respect for others but even more for yourself. And Sokker isn't a movie and has nothing to do with it, it is a game with real people.

well I think is more of a problem when the the "highest powers" in sokker don´t allow me to get my account closed than me finding an alternative ways to get what I have all the rights to

and that is again a matter of taste I guess then. I could never take a community where bits and baits talk to eachother as a real life, unless I really know these people. I´ve came here all these years to have fun by being someone I would not be in real life, to pwn other players for fun and to create situation that would make me laugh or that would escalade into something interesting . all are the same reasons why I play gta. I don´t feel like making fool of myself or seeing somehow myself in the mirror when I ran over a hooker in grand theft auto with a semi truck

He doesn't get it, he is always very serious. As a matter of fact he doesn't understand jokes quite well also I think. There is just that type of people.I'm also enjoying my "different" life in virtual reality :)

thanks for your support :D. I started to think for a minute that what if I´m the only one who doesn´t take sokker that seriously

well...hmm, the thing is that it is possible to actually judge people from virtual communication and get the idea what he or she is like so naturally I think we behave somewhere close like we do in real life but if you like Postal 2 or something that doesn't mean that you want to blow brains out of people and you don't do that only because being afraid of jail. I understand what Charles mean but I don't think anyone actually gives a crap how I behave here and they shouldn't.

yea, I´ve judged some sokker users in my head aswell. and been grateful that I don´t know them in real life :D..

I think this is the first time I don´t agree with Charles, though I remember either reading or participating in the same discussions with him a lot. mostly reading I guess. so no hard feelings charles, ur an okay guy.

and I also agree that it is not the best tone if I come here and look for a ways to get a ban, since it´s kinda negative inside commercial for sokker. but I kinda got annoyed that admins didn´t agree to let me close my account and especially by the fact that the polish admin stopped reading my mails nor gave me any explanations

but yea, in general, I don´t give a crap about anyones behaviour here either. for example I don´t think duckies or srjatsma made fool of them selves. I´m glad they were here. they were an entertainment for me

but yea, sokker is sinking slowly. used to be so much fun and pwnage in forums.. or I´m just getting old
