I think that he chance that sokker dies within a year is almost 0.
I would not sugest to buy it for 2 years, but just look from year to year.

As I understoot from greg, Sokker won't just simply end.
Hello.
At first, I'd say thank you for information, 1st and 3rd Im using myself, but Apollo, I can't somehow. I keep getting message: "files: Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset."
Is there something I have forgot to add/changes?
Thank you for answer.
NB! Of cause, anyone is welcome to help me out of it.

I always get some message when I end the program, but all updates are still done. Other users have problems installing Apollo, they can't even get it to work, like you, so I think Apollo can't always work with the newest OS. I have Windows 7 with Apollo.
Ohh, thank for quick answer. True, cant install it on my Win8.1.
Yep, than the new OS is most probably the problem. Apollo is an old program and I don't think it has been updated for many years now. So unfortunately it seems the program is really becoming too old now. It is a pity because it is a nice simple help program with okay graphs, and a 'squad' option for line-up suggestions with best players on certain positions. I have used it a lot of times when I just started to play Sokker and didn't know about the skills yet.
EDIT: would be nice if someone can make it work again with new OS :)

Ohh, I got it work. If someone has same problem like I did, just extract fails from Apollo into same folder where you extracted before. You are missing few files which somehow wasn't downloaded in the 1st time. I extract few times, until I had files I missed. Now it's working for me.
Easiest way is to pay by paypal when getting plus. If sokker closes, then do a chargeback = no money lost.
guys is it bad to overtrain young players? like let them play everyday while training a skill. What is your advice on when young players should play to gain skill ? on thursday or weekends ? lastly how do one know the talent of a player ?
You can't over-train players. But I think it is best to let them play only 1 official match each week, so 1 friendly or 1 competition match.
And talent is something you can find out in junior school. Not sure how to do it in main team, but you can find the most talented players by keeping track of their progress. See for example training stats in this post, it's in German but I think most can be understand :)

the levels in that link are almost impossible for beginner players though due to coach levels i think...
The high talent players are indeed to good for new managers, but manager gormahia isn't a beginning manager anymore :) But I don't know the levels of his training staff.
But I don't know the levels of his training staff
just take a look on the tactical discipline of his players;)
The high talent players are indeed to good for new managers
Not really. Only high talent and high skilled players are very expensive. And "Projekt Trainingstabelle" isn't only for top talents.

I should have been more correct, known talented players are often too expensive, but indeed, new managers could buy these players with some luck. And yes, high skills makes them unaffordable for new managers :)
Today i got four 17 year old new junior players for my youth team, and none of them have skills lower than average. Is it just me or the quality of juniors really got an uprising?
