In the news:
As you may know, the new scripts were temporarily brought online on Tuesday September 19th for a short period of time. After some performance issues and two bugs were detected, they were quickly removed and the old scripts were brought back online.
Today, the developers feel that they are nearly done fixing the performance issues and the identified bugs.
Therefore, there is a TENTATIVELY planned testing in production for the new scripts for Thursday, September 19th. More information will be made available either as formal news and/or in the discussion thread on Sokker International.

We posted this just because there were a lot of questions about the release, excitement about the changes, concern over communication etc.
Please don't flame for lack of clarity, given "tentative" in the post and "nearly done fixing" etc. I'm trying to provide information here before everything is certain, because when the devs feel good about a new release, they'll check it in production.
As mentioned before, while not that big a functional difference (though there are a few cute new things), it was a biiiig change and so it's difficult for a restricted testing community to test load and all of the possible scenarios well (without VERY expensive QA testing / load testing tools) (and lets not get into a discussion about mercury tools, etc etc lol - keep this thread about the new scripts please :)

great, last time the changes looked good (apart from that few flaws the devs became aware of), so let's hope it will soon get to production.

I checked information only and I think that your claim is unfair. Although many of us pay Pluses, I don't think that that gives them enough money to buy a Mercury... Look, the cheapest one, the Milan starts at 18,725 (without taxes!).

He made a mistake and wrote Thursday September 19th, when he meant Thursday September 20th (tomorrow).

btw, I was one of the lucky guys who saw the new scripts that few minutes... and I hope they are coming soon... the changes I saw are great. Hope for happyness.... (soft machine... ;))
