England beat Albania 6-0 playing a total 'B' team, should have been alot more though as the strikers missed alot of chances!
Why play a total B-team? Are all your regular starters in card trouble? Or do you not care about goal differential?
I think having a good GD is more important than risk on injuries ;)

Ever heard of injuries? :P
What's an injury? Is it a low probability random event? Do they happen in club matches or just easy NT matches? How many players get injured in a regular NT game? 4? 5? 6?
Sitting a player the week before an important match because he has two yellows is one thing, but sitting your full A-squad because you are concerned someone might pick up a knock is overly cautious.
It's nice not to run up the score, but if England misses a "basket" for the World Cup draw next season due to goal differential, then their manager has done the team a disservice by playing back-ups.

Actually, the Injury I got in my game today made me loose 2 points, so I'd say the England coach did a good move.
Now, I don't think we should keep on arguing about this, since we'll never know if England would have got an injury.

Idd. Check the Belgian game. China has a 170k valued keeper and did the most impossible saves. Our strikers are great finishers, but only managed to score 15 out of 54 chances.
It makes me think the ME favours the worse team..

Well it's generally known that the ME indeed has some methods to make sure that the score won't end up like 50-0 which is possible in some matches, if you check the players of the opponent.

Didnt want injuries or suspensions. We already have the best Gd in our group so it didnt matter too much to me :)

Indeed. When it comes down to it, it is the inter-group rather then the intra-group GD that really means something. I hope for your sake that England's fate is decided by points. 1st basket and 2nd basket is very big.

Fffft. You were lucky to get 1 point, injury or not. And your statement is completely irrelevant anyway since you weren't sitting any players (that I can discern).
I really like the second line of your post. The "I've made my point so don't you reply" line. Truly, how can one argue about what might have been? Btw - how many injuries did England incur in their WC match?
