Wow we're lucky again with such a group. :o and very nice to play against India. As probably de generaal ( also dutch) will remain coach.

Thanks once again to the devs for screwing up qualification by having the new teams placed in the 3rd seeds.
Considering only 6 of the 3rd place teams go through, there is a huge advantage in the groups with one of the 5 new countries.

Let me compare Group A, B with our Group I

A

Now Wales are almost certain to take one of the 3rd place qualifying spots.

This is just a joke of a group and i'm fairly certain Uruguay will go through easily, despite them being 5th SEEDS.

One of these teams will qualify.

Now despite the fact we're a 3rd seed, we've got to go through Sweden and even then, it wont be enough because of the 5 ridiculously new country groups, where the 4th seeds are guaranteed to take maximum points.
Well done devs, you're doing a sterling job and in no way making a complete mockery of the whole international game.

that is a very good point nin.

Now im all for new teams getting a lot of points to start with (otherwise they will find themselves so far behind they cant come back..BUT to be givne such high qualification positions is just ridiculous.

I just thought of an idea, what if new countries were to start with a low ranking, and then every season they were "given" free points so they dont get behind.

but this can only occur for first 2-3 seasons hilst they have time to get a training program happening

They may be an option but i think it would be best if they just came in with 1200 points. No-one can seriously say that 1600 is accurate. Eventually they'll fall to where theyre supposed to be anyway. Where they start only affects the teams around them.

I'm just looking at the other groups because i want to see who else this is going to cost. I wont put up 1st or 2nd because this doesn't affect them.

Wales (4th seed)
Almost certain to qualify

Group B
Uruguay (5th Seed)
Almost certain to qualify

Group C
Slovenija or Israel (4th and 5th)
If they take points off each other neither will qualify

Group D
Columbia or Australia (3rd and 4th)
If they take points off each other, neither will qualify.

Group E
Russia and Venezuela (4th and 5th)
if they take points off each other, neither will qualify.

Group F
Portugal (3rd)
Easy group, will certainly qualify)

Group G
Belarus (3rd)
Another easy group, definitely will go through

Group H
Malta and Costa Rica (4th and 5th)
Whoever comes out winner between these two will qualify

Group I
Ireland and Sweden (3rd and 4th)
If either drop points against each other, neither will qualify.

Group J
Peru (3rd) will qualify from an easy group

The others mentioned are outsiders anyway but it really goes to show what a terribly flawed qualification this is going to be. I'd step down as Ireland manager due to this, if i wasnt already

I am running for the NT job in Island again. There are basically 50:50 chances to get. Will see the results in 8 days.

Today when I saw the Island group, I was bit shocked...logical though, because Island NT rating is very low. That´s the reason why we got so hard opponents.

His Royal Higness (shadow) will probably win in Poland - great speech he has.
Poland will win the group, Germany probably second.

I think Island needs a miracle to finish third and qualify to WC. Must win in both rounds against SA, Srbija and Nigeria.
That will be really difficult mission, nothing impossible though.

Why are you so sure, that nobody of the teams like Wales or Uruguay will loose points against the smaller temas?

I' will certainly become national coach from Hayastan and I think that I can win against Wales and perhaps reach the third place.
