Hi there

Does anyone play Trophy Manager, a soccer online manager game like Sokker?

Trophy Manager

If not, you should try to register because it's free to play and if you compare the Plus functions in Sokker and the non-PRO functions you get in Trophy Manager, you can get many of the same as you could get if you were paying for a plus acount in Sokker.

You can make press releases free, you have training analyzer free and much more, for free!
So you can get several extra features without paying a single coin to the creators of Trophy Manager, that aren't and wouldn't be free in Sokker.

I hope that you will register in the game and try it, maybe one day we will play a game against eachother, my club is the Austria first division side:

Linz

Take on the challenge of thousands of other real life players, build your infrastructure and enjoy the fully fledged managing experience as your team clashes with rivals in the battle for honor and trophies!

I am sure and I hope that you are going to like the game as much as I do and that is much.

Regards :)

Well maybe you havent taken the game so serious then, because if are using your time in it and checking your oppenents out carefully, then you are going to succesfully win.
Also note, that this game has the best youth system from all managergames as it's not like the one from Hattrick were just need to pull one player with a okay skill and then just train him in the same things again and again, which is very boring in my opinion.

Hehe, there are lots of free stuff there. Many managers love this game because of all the possibillities for playing free and still have a cool clubhouse and other nice things.
I hope you will sign up and try it, and hopefully many other managers in Sokker are going to do the same, because as you say, you can also try, even if you don't like it or aren't interessted ;)

Terrible match engine! Terrible! Much worse than Hattricks. You have the crappiest teams beating top division teams, especially in cup games. So unrealistic. I've been playing for more than 1 year now. I am just focusing on training and youth school. Have them both in level 10.

It sucks the match engine is so bad, cause overall, it's a very interesting game.

Hmm, exiting advertising you are making.

Yes, at some how I can agree that the match engine is not good, but that it's not better than the one in Hattrick is wrong, because in Hattrick, you are always going to win if you are playing a 3-5-2 with good central midfield and attack over the wings, and that's what I hate about Hattrick :/

But there have been some bugs in the match engine and in the middle of the new season (which is the 9th season), the match engine should be without bugs and therefore it should be running smother and should get more realistic than before.

HT's engine is way better than TM's. Yes, it is flawed by midfield possession, however that's highly in the lower levels. In the higher ones (passable and up), the possession is not as meaning full... other factors come into place.

Trophy is just plain shitty engine. I've had enough of watching their games. Very very subjective. I'm just pulling and training youth ==> making money. Other than that, there's nothing that pulls me into that game.

I give them one thing tho: graphics. That's what making them gain ground over sokker. They're graphics are very good, and attract a lot of new users. I hope sokker makes up for it soon.
I just hope sokker doesn't use the dark colors as them.

what is TM like?

great game

it sucks.
I lost my endmatch against a much weaker inactive team with lots of older players. He will relegate for sure.
MLe myself, I ended 6th last season, and allready survived 5 seasons in first.
Big bull that I didn't now.

I'm not trying to be a git or owt, and take this off topic, but i think Sokker are way too kind when it comes to rival sites.

I "spammed" 5 users on another online footie manager yesterday, by sending them a polite message and mentioning Sokker. I have been a user of said game for over 5 years, and they suspended my account!

I'm starting to think that Sokker's user base is so low for more than advertising reasons...

Well, still Hattricks engine is bad. In my opinion, it's not better than the one in Trophy Manager. But the problem, is that in Hattrick, that you as said at under passable, just needs a good midfield and then you are surely going to win.

But still, at higher levels, you have to play 3-5-2 to win, because everybody just plays it, that's difference between the two games.
In Hattrick, you just need to have the advantage in some factors and then you have pratically won a game.

But maybe, you haven't looked at the tactics good enough in Trophy Manager, because if you have good players and they have the right skills, yes the right skills (not high ASI, they need the right skills for the right positions).

But I agree with you, that the design is way better than in Sokker and that it's on of Trophy Managers main attractions, but also, that there are many things you get even if you aren't a PRO user.
