2009-04-03 01:07:40
ahhhh allright, i got surprised, good to know it was a joke :D

You know, spain usually never wins nothing in football, so i think we are "good losers" when its time to say the other team played better and all this stuff :D
2009-04-03 01:23:13
tell me more about winning nothing...
2009-04-03 09:46:27
it's getting funny in Belgium :')
There would have been an arguement in the locker rooms in Bosnia. Afterwards, one of the older players would have said the young ones are spoiled brats :p

Everybody does it in football - it's really annoying. When you see other sports they rarely comment the referees decisions. But in football he is virtually asaulted everytime he blows his whistle. Some of the most famous teams in the world (for instance ManU, Arsenal etc.) all have players and managers who promote this behaviour to the extreme. It's no surprise that everyone emulates their behaviour and so it has become part of football culture to criticise referees at all times :-(

Btw, nice 3-0 win over Albania for Denmark. This was our 4th victory in a row (Portugal (A) 3-2, Malta (H&A) 2 x 3-0 and Albania (H) 3-0) and the first time ever that the Danish NT has scored 3 goals in a match 4 times in a row!

Portugal can still qualify if they start delivering the results - they need to win all their remaining games to stand a chance...
2009-04-03 12:11:37
Yes, but they wont, they are coming to Hell in Hungary :)

This is the first time since abaut 20 years Hungary has a chance, and whole Hungary is mad abaut it, we wont to be there in 2010!

We soudl of won agains Denmark, they where lucky, but will fight them again, and well be motivated up to heaven. There will be good maches for hungary in the autumn.

Go Koeman, go!

2009-04-03 15:41:17

Denmark Denmark 5 4 1 0 12 2 13
Hungary Hungary 6 4 1 1 8 2 13
Portugal Portugal 5 1 3 1 6 3 6
Sweden Sweden 4 1 3 0 2 1 6
Albania Albania 7 1 3 3 3 6 6
Malta Malta 7 0 1 6 0 17 1

Hungary have been good so far. Denmark have amazing results and should qualify. However lets look at some more interesting facts.

Sweden have only played 4 games while Hungary have played 6. Sure a 7 point difference so Sweden wouldn't be able to pass Hungary even if they got to play two games now. Let's take a look at Sweden's coming fixtures.

06/06/09 20:00 Solna Sweden - Denmark
10/06/09 19:00 Gothenburg Sweden - Malta
05/09/09 TBA Hungary - Sweden
09/09/09 TBA Malta - Sweden
10/10/09 TBA Denmark - Sweden
14/10/09 TBA Sweden - Albania

1. Sweden is the only top team in the group that has not met the sure 3 pointer Malta, that's 6 points. They have a home match against Albania, another 3 points.

Hungary, home? I dont really see us losing there, underneath is the last three competition games where Sweden have met Hungary. I see a certain pattern there.

2010 Solna 10/09/2008 SWE 2:1 (0:0) HUN First stage
2006 Budapest 07/09/2005 HUN 0:1 (0:0) SWE First stage
2006 Solna 09/10/2004 SWE 3:0 (1:0) HUN First stage

So let's take a look at Hungary. They have impressed so far...However, their opposition have not been that good and look at this fixture set.

05/09/09 TBA Hungary - Sweden
09/09/09 TBA Hungary - Portugal
10/10/09 TBA Portugal - Hungary
14/10/09 TBA Denmark - Hungary

Yep, only Hard games left for Hungary. To be honest i don't see Hungary qualifying.
