Tell me more, it was like '94th minute? And I needed over 1.5 goals to get 25€ :D
first goal on 81', second on 93'
first goal on 81', second on 93'
Boca this, Boca that, can you try to be a fan of Argentina for a while?
In any case, yes, we do have plenty of defenders. Some are still coming out of injuries (Gabriel Milito, Gonzalo Rodríguez), but the rest (Pareja, Coloccini, Burdisso, Garay, Fazio,...) is available. But, apparently, Maradona thinks these 2 guys are better, so... I can only pray he is right :P
The truth is that our middlefield is weak. I really miss the 2006 team.

Well...I don't know about the others, but Coloccini and Burdisso suck big time...
No, I'm fan of Boca first, then I'm argentinian. ;)
But truthfully speaking, Argentina wasted players like Samuel, Burdisso, Schiavi, Paletta, Ibarra, Arruabarrena, Clemente Rodriguez, those just in defence, and you don't have to be a genius to realize if Boca is since '98, one of the most winning teams in teh world, it's not just because of chance. And from the ones you named tehre are only 3 I like, Milito, Pareja and Fazio, apart form Burdisso.

Nah, not big time. I mean, Heinze IS going to play, so some sucking is allowed :P
Personally, I like Gonzalo and Milito better, but still I trust Coloccini.

Shame on you! You're not my friend then :P But you deserve an european passport, that's for sure :P

I forgot about Samuel, he could be playing too. But you are kidding me, Schiavi? Clemente? Now the Boca fan is speaking :P Actually, Samuel and Ayala were our defenders for many years, so Samuel wasn0t "waasted", and when was Schavi supposed to play then? Same with Arruabarrena and Ibarra: they were subs when Sorín and Zanetti were on the team (and young), and Sorín and Zanetti are the best wing back couple we ever had. Yes, they are, period :P
Paletta wasn't even as good as Cabral, and were's Cabral now?
Besides, most of the player you mentioned aren't "Boca players", they just played there for some time, coming from other teams (Argentinos Jrs., Colón, etc), and going to other teams :P You are always biased towards players that acheive things in your team, but what things? Defending Fabbiani and Abreu vs River? COme on :P

******* Jugoslavian Ibra
I have to agree, he sucks although his parents are from BiH and I cheer for Barcelona :)

What do you want, I saw them teh most playing for Boca. And no, I saw them also playin and beatin teams like Milan, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and many brazilian teams with players that later succed in Europe.
Same with Arruabarrena and Ibarra: they were subs when Sorín and Zanetti were on the team (and young), and Sorín and Zanetti are the best wing back couple we ever had. Yes, they are, period :P
Hate them, they suck since a long time ago, I always say this and you know it :P they are such ball losers, bad passers, they are slow, and counter-attacks givers(Sorin lost teh ball with that iranian player of Germany and we were out of teh last WC)both of them. Now Ibarra and Arruabarrena are old, and they are not what the used to be, but their best years were wasted behind such crappy players, that makes me sad. :)

I already have 1. :P

Not all of them. Actually, Bayern Munich won that match, remember Kufour? Anyway, that applies to Samuel an Bermúdez (Comombian), and the guys when you defeated Milan on penalties, but that's it.
Sorin gave lost teh ball with that iranian player of Germany and we were out of teh last WC
There' no "iranian" player in Germany (maybe you are mistaking with Odonkor) + the goal came from a cross from the right side (yes, teh Burdisso side) + your weak keeper got injuried leaving us with the sub to stop that ball (and the penalties, because we didn't lose the match, we lost on penalties).
But if you really want to talk about wastes, ask Riquelme how come he is not playing today. Me, I just hope these 11 guys to win :P

No, we lost 1 on over time with an invalid goal, with attacking foul, but Boca deserved to had much more opportunities to score, and our players were totally at the level of the circumstance, referee also didn't sent off a couple of Bayern player for violent fouls, but sent of 1 of our forwards for simulating an infraction. Maybe it's hard to undertand for a San Lorenzo fan what it means your team to be better tahn rich european teams. :P

I know he is not iranian, but it was easily for some1 to came up with his name reading that, yes Odonkor. The cross came from a throw in taht came because Sorin wanted to over come Odonkor in speed, he lost teh ball, Odonkor started the counter-attack, he throw the ball to their left side(our right), 1 of our defender sent the ball off, they made a fast throw in and the scored. If Sorin would have been inteligent and recognized he wasn't gonna overcome Odonkor in speed, less withnthe ball(probably he would overcome his granma in speed)stopped and passed the ball, theat goal wouldn't been scored.
P.D.: Abbondanzieri was great during teh WC, a shame we lost him.
ut if you really want to talk about wastes, ask Riquelme how come he is not playing today. Me, I just hope these 11 guys to win :P
Couldn't agree more, but also Roman was wasted in his best years, he is not what he used to be, and we only had him duirng a single WC. On the other hand winning today seems not going to be easy, I think it's gonna be a draw.

Ooooh, so you deserved to win, OK, let's build our NT based on how much you cried after that much, about the reff or whatever :P
And: oooh, so Sorín los the ball wich was later a throw in which was later... So, basically, you rewind until you find Sorín, and then that's the key part of the play, and so ir is Sorín's fault.
It's ridiculous how you try to make that goal Sorín's fault. Is the perfect example of how biased you are when watching Argentina and how you rank your preconceptions above facts.

He was in his best years in 2006, he could be going for his second WC, and he has no one to blame but himself if he's not.
Maybe it's hard to undertand for a San Lorenzo fan what it means your team to be better tahn rich european teams.
Well, I know what it is to defeat Boca over and over again, does it count? :P
The problem still is that I want Argentina to win and you want Argentina to act as some sort of rewarding device for you Boca's heroes. And if Argentina wins with a lineup I didn't like, I'll be extremely happy, while if we win with a lineup you don't like, you may just say "bah, we'll lose the next time anyway". If you watch the match at all :P
PS: I think Odonkor is mor elike from Turkish origin, but I'm not sure :P

No, I rewind till when we had the ball for last time, that is Sorin, he left teh team broken(midfield and attack on a side,a defence on then other), he lost teh ball in our field, unforgivable thing to do in football, cause our team was comming out of another german attack when Sorin lost it, our defence wasn't armed well and reciving a goal in that situation wasn't weird, that was caused when Sorin lost teh ball in our field. That's basic football, you can't lose the ball in your field(less when all the team is trying to counter-attack) makes muhc easier for your opponent to score.
