Argentina was damn so lucky in last week.. But as far as I remember Brasil, in 2002 qualifications, they made it in the last game as it's this year for Argentina.. And then they won the World Cup in 2002.. Why not for Argentina in this summer?? But I still say, with Maradona... lame..

In my opinion the NT to follow closely is Chile. No so outstanding players but a really great team.

portugal, france even italy won't play this crappy football, they're gonna play as their best and chile is a good team but you can't compare suazo, fernandez or jimenez with c.ronaldo, or ribery....

as england or nederlands of coruse...I'd say that the only teams wich give the best in top matches are italy and germany and maybe france but only maybe

How about Spain? They will reach semi finals, at least.. About France and Portugal... I don't think they will be as great as you thought.. Maybe they won't qualify, who knows.. :)

spain is one of the best teams with england and brazil but who can say what they could do?

they won an european cup and then they lost against usa in the semi-finals of the confederations cup...but at least they are much more stronger than portugual

Don't get me wrong. I think that Brazil and Spain are cadidates to win.
But I believe that Chile will be a nice surprise on 2010.

Jimenez hasn´t played in Chile... only 2 match as substitute, in 2007, and no more :P

maybe Chile don´t have "super names", but is a team, that know how play a fantastic football.
if you think in the football of France or Portugal , or even, Italy, it´s very boring and sad.

anyway, it´s not comparable, Portugal and France aren´t clasiffied yet, in regular groups (Portugal 2d... the 1st is Denmark, Chile played 2 months ago vs Denmark, and Chile won in his house, only with half team "A")

Ribery is a super player, but C Ronaldo...pff, in south america, vs defence of Uruguay or Paraguay , one kick in his pretty legs, and he don´t plays never more :P

Brazil always are candidates, are the best of the world... now tih Dunga, 2 counters and match finished.
strong defensive line, and powerful ofensive, I like his style, but in some match, they has played very bad (as Brasil 0 vs Bolivia 0 in Brasil)

for me, Brazil will be the new champions, again :P

Dude seriously....

1) The Qualifications lasts.... 18 games, if you ended up needing some results of other teams in the last game, then you did something wrong.

Now you say the game Uruguay - Argentina was arranged. Ok, let´s say you were right and you could decide even now the results.

Let´s see,

Option 1) Argentina wins, since you lost, then Argentina goes to the WC, Uruguay has to play against Costa Rica.
Option 2) The game ends tied, since you lost, then Argentina goes to the WC, Uruguay has to play against Costa Rica.
Option 3) Uruguay wins, since you lost, then Uruguay goes to the WC, and Argentina plays against Costa Rica...

Conclusion: YOU LOST, cry me a river.
