Referee is another variable in the game. He is human and he can make mistakes. As a professional player you have to take into account all variables in the game. Henry made a bet, and he won, and he collected the profits. France in, Ireland out.

We can discuss all year long if that is fair or not. But the truth is, soccer is NOT FAIR. Deal with it. It sucks when you are in the loosing side, and is great when you are on the winning side.

I love the game, and I love that all this imperfections remains. Ironically it makes the game perfect.

There is no comparison any these situations so please stop saying it is. I am finding it a bit bemusing in honesty. Had Argentina lost to a goal like this to stop you getting to the World Cup Finals you would be extremely upset.

I personally hate when a camera shows and counts the inches to see if there was an offside or not. That in my opinion is killing some fun of the game. I think that linesman should be encourage to not call offsides unless is obvious. All the close ones shouldn't be charged.

Now you have 45 cameras displaying if the guy was offside by 0.000012 cms. Dont you think that the sport would be much enjoyable if that was not the case?

I'm with Castor the imperfections football has makes it much better than any other sport, technology would kill a lot of fun, debates, happyness, angryness, would make it dull.
