I hope that Brazil or some powerfull team (not Argentina please XD) get kick out of the WC by a major ref mistake then , MAYBE THEN FIFA could work in some little improvements

How about Ireland - Georgia, happened 18 days ago and clearly had a huge impact on this qualifications... Should that be also replayed?
2009-11-20 22:49:07
Plus, they should have rejected the penalty, like that romanian player, that would have been a spormanship attitude, otherwise it's just cheating. :P

If it is pish, then give me a valid argument why it shouldn't be replayed, just because the Georgians didn't complain? You have to cry to get fairness in this world? If you have to do that, seems a little bit unfair
2009-11-20 22:54:28

IM A SCOT !!! so it doesnt affect me , i just hate cheats

So for you it is fine, if the referee is bribed and calls a stupid penalty. So that is completely fair and shouldn't be punished?.

If so, then, why another mistake from the referee should be punished? (not seeing something is the same as seeing something that didn't exist).

Bye bye Stevie, you are just wanting a witch hunt, nothing related to fairness at all.
because of final result.

but this fifa hypocrits will never admit his mistakes! and protection that enjoy "big" football nations.

france are no longer up there without zidane, viera, makalele and thuram, they are a very average team, but yes i agree fifa would not allow france to get knocked out.

There's a difference between deliberate cheating and things like fouls and tackles

First, fouls and tackles can be deliberate (and hands may be casual some times). And fouls are against the rules, hence cheating.
Second, of course there's a difference: you can't break a colleague's leg by touching the ball with your hand. That's whay little cheaters like Maradona or Tulio are not comparable to assassin cheaters lile Goikoetxea, Duscher or Roy Keane.
Even though I wanted Eire to win wednesday's match, and even though I didn't dislike Keane as a player.

And even though I enjoyed Duscher tackling Beckham :P

they have good players, great names, but something is missing there. team spirit?

and with domenech they have tragic trainer...

but like i said france is one off masters in this world, and irland is just a small island like many others: kiribati or trinidad & tobago. some people even don't know that irland exist at all ;))
