Manchester showed what anti-football is, really lame...
2008-04-24 00:03:59
I think they didn't need to be so conservative, but well, they got what they wanted.
In Manchester, I guess, they will show something different. Then again, maybe there Barcelona will find more room and, specially, more shots on target :P

For the good of all football everywhere, the final must be Barca v Liverpool, it would be an exiting final, the worst possible final would be Man u v Chelsea which would be the most boring game there ever will be
2008-04-24 01:02:52
I don't think it matters. Long ball (liverpool and chelsea) vs cultured possesion (Barca) or rapid counter attack (man u). That's the way I see it. Either way, tonight's semi should produce the winner, for the good of football. I'm fed up with the way liverpool and chelsea play.

lol, where's Cristiano Ronaldo?

this guy is not a big game player, he only dominates against weak opponents..he won a freekick, he won a corner, and he won a PENALTY? and missed all of 'em, how many chances does he need? isnt he suppose to be the "best in the world"?..haha
2008-04-24 04:39:54
well at least is better than anyone in mls...

just was a bad night for him. He missed a penalty...maybe nobody tell him Valdes was the keeper and he don´t need to make a big effor to kick.

He still being a great player... one of the best in the world.

Not a bad night's work for what amounts to about 4 minutes on the ball, taking into account barca's 66% possession and the fact that another dozen united players were on the pitch. Don't forget he should have won another penalty and a red card for Marques. I have no doubt he'd have put that second one away if the ref had had the balls to give it.
