So, yeah, Rafa not improving at all...that 2005 team would have whipped Chelsea tonight, right. Three nil, four nil? Not sure. Still, Chelsea wouldn't have had a hope in hell. Not with those players playing for Liverpool.
I hope Chelsea wins the Champions League...I dont like the idea of ManU's ego getting bigger.
Althought its a team i dont line,I think Chelsea will win both CL and PL.

Liverpool was never gonna win! Not with the negative tactics Rafa puts out! Against the BIG 3 in England, Liverpool allowed the other teams to run all over them! The problem with Rafa is he doesn't put out teams to WIN against the BIG 3! Instead he plays not to lose! There is a big, big difference between playing TO WIN & playing NOT TO LOSE! Each time Damned Rafa plays not to lose! He just doesn't get it, does he? Manu, Arsenal & Chelsea put out teams that play TO WIN, especially Manu! That's why they r above Liverpool! Liverpool will nvr challenge the BIG 3 unless Rafa wakes up, admits n realises his mistakes, then change his playing style or Liverpool get Mourinho!
Liverpool players are not defensive minded players! Yet Rafa wants them to play defensive football! Just look at their defence! They cant even defend properly! Compare their defence with Manu's against Barca, Liverpool's just look like schoolboys defence! I just cant accept it! If you want to play defensive football, make sure your defence can REALLY play that way! The problem is Liverpool just cant defend well against the BIG 3 and yet Rafa wants to play that way and invite them to attack his team! He should take the fight to them! Let them defend! Instead of Liverpool!
Did you look at the way Liverpool play after Torres scored the equaliser???? They stopped attacking! They had the momentum and they just stopped! WTF?? Just like against Arsenal the previous round! Remember that game?? They were very lucky to win it!
Liverpool just doesn't learn! And its definitely the manager's fault! He fails to instill confidence and a winning mentality to Liverpool's players! Especially when it comes to playing against the BIG 3! Look at his appalling record against them! Even Gerard Houllier's record against them is better than Rafa's!!!
As someone said in the forum, you just cant rely on luck, songs and supporters all the time! If you guys analyse Liverpool's games. How many games can u think of that Liverpool played well and won? Not many! Liverpool win bcos the other teams played poorly, not bcos Liverpool played well! Liverpool wins only when other teams play poor! They cant win on their own! Once their opponents play well, Liverpool has no ideas how to win! And the BIG 3 dun play poorly against Liverpool often! Liverpool need them to play poorly then it can win! And they can dream on! It is all Rafa's fault! He is just too big for his head!!!! Stubborn!
Sorry guys, gotta let off some steam!! I'm a Liverpool fan since the 1980s, and i definitely know and remember how the Liverpool of the 80s play! Every game, they play to win! Shankly, Paisley and Dalglish will nvr put out defensive teams!!!! I just can't take this anymore! Rafa just has to go!!!!! For Liverpool's sakes!!!

And what do most fans do when their team loses that don't really have an extensive football knowledge (in my opinion)? Blame a perfectly good manager.

Absolutely correct! "Fans" can be so stupid. They often only see the now, not the yesterday. Rafa made and makes a unbeliebable great job in Liverpool! Especially in the CL he topped the expectations year for year. But some "fans" expect to win the title year for year. If not, the manager is guilty :rolleyes:
