Subject: Is European Union good or bad thing?

In other words: here the religion or spiritualism is a own people thing, anyone can be free to think wahtever but its not a public thing

i just hope turkey never gets in - then my answer will be European: good

Then it's not free if you can't express it public.

I don't say to express it with violence but just someone can tell it free.

of course you can express it, what i mean is that people dosent express it because is not an important thing for 99% of population. I have never asked a girl "hey, hope you are catholic" when dating her...in fact if i ask this to a girl she may think i am joking, surely.

That's something that happened you one time (with the girl that you said in the huge post) and you can't say that all Turks all like this ;-)

For example: Most Greeks don't like Albanians but i know some Albanians that are very good persons. I know and some that are not good. What i'm trying to tell is that you can not judge from something that happened one time.

p.s I'm sure you are dating a lot because your country have very nice girls ;-)

well that is true, i have only that experience about turks so i can be wrong ( i hope so!).

But as the girls was borned in germany and university student i expected different thing. Also, the girl and her mother didnt had their hair covered, so my opinion is thet they were even less religious the most turkish people....but as i said i hope i am wrong! :))

ps: i didnt dated as many as i wanted too :/ xD

Same with the Arab culture. I had a friend, who was bloody intelligent, going to pass all her exams by miles, then her parents dragged her away from school for an arranged marriage.

And the religion can de dangerous if lived stronly as my society would change if most of spanish were ultrareligious, and i dont want that change

Turkey is not part of European Union as everybody know lol:)
Our politics are trying to be part of it for 50 years maybe.But i don't like it becouse i just got sth to be proud of as a turkish citizen.It is my history,my money,my army.
Yeah i will have so many advantages if we get in european union.But i don't want.

i know is not part :), i say that i was like " i accept turkey on UE" as most of spanish, but my point of view now is different because the experience i have had

hard to find a european country wich was not an empire in the past: spain really big empire, portugal had huge territories too, italy, france, enlgand, germany, netherlands.....

I actually did not write to you it is just my idea about European Union.
