iberic translations usually are so high quality imo

No, but you lose a substancial part of the acting of the actor, the way they express what they are saying goes with the image, when a translartor does it, you are not longer seeing that actor(it's complete acting at least), you only see it moving his body, face expression mouth, but the way that the character is saying something is how the translartor thinks it should be, not like the real actor did it, I'm not talking about quality. Plus, spaniards accent is really funny to me ;) , I don't like movies or series not being spoken in english(in some channels old movies or old series are translated to "neutral" spanish here, but there are a minority), but if there are also being spoken like spaniards I think I couldn't pay attention to it, I'd be laughin during the whole thing. ;P

Same here with latinoamerican translation, I tried to watch some series and I just can't xD
mmm true u can lost some part of actor´s job, but mate for me is so confortable hearing series or films in my mother language, and people "doblando" series or films here are so professional, pe simpsons in iberic spanish won a prize as the best translated simpsons on whole world
about accents...i really hate haring series or films in any south american kind of accent :P

Same here with latinoamerican translation, I tried to watch some series and I just can't xD
Like I said, I don't like it either ;) , I think almost no 1 in Argentina likes translated series or movies, we like to hear the original languange.
About The Simpsons(although, I like the latinamerican/mexican translation better than english) or any kind of cartoon, it's another thing, I don't bother, cause there's no acting, just drawings. ;)
About the offtopic, well till tomorrow there won't be much to say about Lost. :P
