Something has just been pointed out to me that I missed before. As Ben stabs Jacob, Jacob touches Ben. Could be important if it means Ben becomes a candidate again.

No, I don't think Ben got a gift from Jacob, when he stabbed him, Jacob lost definitely all his faith in him. I think Ben kinda found peace(he doesn't have to be pretending, having control of everything, manipulating people) after all he went through when Ilana kinda forgave him for killing Jacob.

Anyone care to take a guess on how the statue got destroyed? I've got my own theory but I guess we won't find out until Richards episode.

I don't know, I have a lot of suspicious regarding the statue, first when Ilana, Brahm and their crew enters the cabbin where smokey was locked in, they found a fabric with the image of the statue, and the statue had like some stairs on front pointing to the ocean. Then there's the doll Claire made to replace Aaron, that was on the cribb(season 6 chapter 5, I think) it looked very similar to the statue, specially the face.

I'm somewhat confused about the cabin. Illana and Bram went there looking for Jacob, found the ash had been broken and got worried. If they were expecting Jacob to be there why would they be concerned at the ash being broken? Unless both Smokey and Jacob were trapped inside the ash at some point.
As I've said before I believe that Smokey was lured there to what was Jacobs cabin by Richard and then trapped by the ash. Jacob just left that corner of tapestry as a reminder.

Last nights definitely wasn't. Didn't learn a thing and it even managed to damage my theory on Smokey wanting everyone dead. Next week will be awesome though, it literally can't fail.

next episode will be best episode i hope.i dont like this episode.Because bs say i will answer your all questions and noone ask any question...its a joke ...

Episode 11 "Happily Ever After" 6 April 2010 [ Desmond ]

well it was better than I expected and was able to show Sawyer in a new light. But now it also became clear that there most likely will be no Miles episode. Well I can live with that if there is a great Desmond-episode.

I don't know if this has been already said, but I find lots of connections between Jacob and Smokey and between Michael and Lucifer.

In the war of Angels, Lucifer tried to gain the control of Heaven and lost, and was sentenced to go back to Earth. Lucifer was sent back as an "ancient serpent" (Smokey looks like a serpent).
Lucifer was cast out of Heaven, and now he is trying to bring back his "army" and once again fight against Michael. This kind of looks like what smokey is trying to do, gather as many allies by different meanings (Lucifer gathered an army of angels before, corrupting their minds). Maybe all the ones in the list are the human resurrection of all the fallen angels, i don't know.

But at one point there are some relationship between Lost and a "sequel" of the War of Angels, with Lucifer trying to gather again an army of the "fallen".

Just an idea

PS: I am not religious, please none take offense at this, this is just fiction, I like reading mithology and all that types of stories, and i believe at some point it kind of makes sense.
