That was taken from the beginning of the first season. Jack follows his dead father, finds the caves and later the two bodies.

I also would have left that bit away totally. The ones that didn't remember the scene were confused by it and the ones that did remember it, didn't need that scene to recall it (because adam and eve was known as being important thing).

I think it was a way to say "Seeee that we had this planned since the beginning and we didn't just add random stuff here and there"

Only 6 days to the finale. 1 episode tomorrow night and then the double-bill on Sunday. Any last theories on the ending? I'm sticking by my idea that everyone on the island will have to die, which is somewhat difficult if you're the last person left and you're not able to kill yourself.

Nah, at the moment I buried all theories in my backyard so I can enjoy the last hours of lost without the "I knew that" or "I didn't knew that". I made theories for years and it was fun, but it is just a tv-series and there are so many inconsistencies that it is not made to be foreseen.
It feels like they play with a bunny before your eyes and you know that it is a bunny but as soon as you try to grab it, it suddenly is a slimy frog. :D So I give up :D

There is a religious allegory to the show but there's also a lot of philosophy.

So has MIB given up trying to kill the candidates now and is just settling for destroying the island itself? I mean if Jack has now taken over from Jacob, then MIB has lost on that count. So what happens to the other candidates now? I'm still saying everyone has got to die, otherwise this "game" just continues for another 2000 years.
Only thing I'm confident of now is that Desmond is going into that light. He's the only one able to withstand the magnetism.

Bad beginning (scar on Jacks neck did jump all over his neck. Was somewhere else in every scene) but then I must say I was quite satisfied with the answers I got. The thing with Richard was not hard to be foreseen. A bit sad that they tend to get rid of characters in that way. But then again there are still to many if they all have to die anyway.

Can't wait for the finale.
