seriously
even if you didn't like the Finale... wtf... did you wait every single day for the next episode?
without f***ing your girlfriend or going out?

then you are really lame

PS: the Finale was great... very human and nice

it was shit

the most important question what the fuck is that island still didnt get answered...

and by the way, desmond couldnt even move that stone a tiny bit in real life, it was a size of small human...

well the only thing i liked was the massage of whole series,

'let go', and a delivery of it I believe was a main purpose of the show

apart from that, its still shit...

Mine was a figure of speach ;)
Seriously, what did you guys expect? That they would give all the answers in the series finale?

I just expected something that make sense, but what I saw is only bulshit !
So....... what really happened after the nuke bomb exploded? Why we saw the island sinked in the ocean at the begining of this season? Who the hell was the kid in the jungle who spoke a couple of time with the black smoke and one time with Hugo ???
What kind of shit does the authors use to smoke ???

And after all...... What's the very meaning of the story? It's just a huuuuuuuuuuge non-sense!!!

I'm left feeling hugely disappointed.

Let me get this straight, maybe I misunderstood: the entire alt time-line was just created somehow by a bunch of "ghosts" after their respective deaths just so that they could all have one last group hug before going to heaven? And everything that happened in the alt timeline was just meaningless? Being an non-believer in matters religious, this just leaves me so very, very cold - even though the ending was all warm and fuzzy. The more I think about the more I come to the conclusion that the alt timeline story is completely bizarre, maybe even illogical.

I'm still digesting all this, so maybe I'll "see the light" in a day or two and appreciate it. I doubt it though. Right now I would have rather seen the H-bomb go off and then jump straight to the first 3/4 of the finale up until Hurley gets made, then see Jack die. End.

yeah, kindof my thoughts... ok idea is nice,
but that stuff in the middle doesnt make sense...
That kid is the little Jacob. The island was sinked because it was in the alternate timeline, in which the plane didn't crash ( in fact, this was just imaginary, it was to make Jack move on ). Why do you have to know what happened when the nuke bomb exploded?

Only thing I'd like to know is if everything that happened on the island really happened or if the passengers were dead immediately at the crash. To know if it was all just imaginary from Jack, or if only the alternate timeline was imaginary.

"What happened, happened"
Kate

I need to watch it again but Christian explains it to Jack that he's dead and that the other people also died, some before him, some long after. The Alt line is everyone coming to terms with their life and death before they move on.
If the 6 yers' story is all a great immagination... than I'd say.... LOST SUCK!!!
6 year of mistery, trouble, escape, return, death, suffer, hunger, love, fight.... And at the end we realize "it's just a big illusion" ??????
F***'em all !!! What a big bulshit!!! -__-

I don't think you understood the ending

Okay, I knew that, but you can't be sure that what on the island happened really happened. I think it did, but then there rises a question: what is the island?
2010-05-25 12:51:02
Sure! And I also think noone else understood the ending, becouse it's just a big nonsene!
2010-05-25 12:53:13
gotta be honest - my wife and i watched it last night and were like WTF !?!?!?!?!?!

really didnt like the ending 1 bit , after watching for 6 years for it to end the way it did makes me kinda annoyed at myself for watching it all the way through :(
2010-05-25 13:24:10
same here.
It wasn't anything near the epic finalle i was expecting :[

"Okay, I knew that, but you can't be sure that what on the island happened really happened. I think it did, but then there rises a question: what is the island? "

Jack dies, Hurley stays behind with Ben, everyone else leaves and lives their lives. Eventually they all die and find themselves in the Alt.
If you go right back to the start of Season 6, that moment Jack feels something on the plane happens right after he dies, hence the scars and marks on his neck.
The question about the island could do with being answered though. As well as why Smokey couldn't leave and what would happen if he did. On the whole though I'm not annoyed that it wasn't answered. This whole show has been far more about the journey and the lessons learned than getting the answers.
