2008-06-21 18:49:36
Hi everybody.
I would like to know if there's any Mac user who can help me. My problem is this: at the same time that I'm watching sokker game I would like to speak with skype. I can't find any tipe of software or tricks to get mute the sokker game and to have the opportunity to speak with skype at the same time. I kwon that pc users can have flashmute as software to solve this problem but, as Mac user like I am, I can't afford this situation.
Thanks for any help Sirs.

Hi, I need some serious mac OSx help, from someone who has any experience in installing the mac OSx on a PC(not produced by apple mac).

I need to buy a computer for professional editing movie/photography & graphic design, to work on. Everyone in the industry suggests and uses apple mac's (inculding Final Cut - which is not available on Windows).

For the last 14 years I only used Windows, and I like my XP! but for professional reasons I'll need to use both systems (also the OSx), I also have a limited budget (£600/max.£800) to buy a new machine, very preferably a mobile device (mobile as in easily movable =laptop computer) yet I am not really ready to pay extra £400 on mac design alone, I am not interested in overpiced personal computers made ba mac co, I like to spend my cash on proccesing power & ram and large screens (in a laptop). I need the OSx thou....

So I have two opitions, and need your(anyones) practcal advice:
1.Buy a stronger PC (Dell XPS) and install OSx on it, either as a main system (if possible) or the 2nd choice on virtual box. My main question is: HOW do I do that? (please links) and is it, or on what procesors/systems is it possible?
Or 2.I will need to buy the cheapest mac :-(, and use virtual windows on it.
(remember, I will probably use more, and need more power on/with OSx)

I have found this Dell XPS m2010 which would / should be strong enough and mobile. Yet I need to know if OSx would run on this system? and/or how difficult would it be to make it run on it
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, ATI Mobility Radeon X1800
with 256MB Dedicated RAM

Or can anyone find a similar specifications mac laptop (macbook / or macbook pro) for £800 or less.

That, I can agree on... :-)
...but I still, l'll need the OSx to run on a/my PC. :-]

I wouldn't mind a MacBook Pro, for a reasonable price.
