who has any experience in installing the mac OSx on a PC(not produced by apple mac).

I think that it's not possible.
You can install win over a mac (using bootcamp) but not install OSX over a Pc, 'cause, if I don't mind, hardware structure is totally different.

If I don't mind a friend of mine try to install OS9 over a pc but no way to realize.
Maybe in some mac's user forum you can find something in this way but for me, considering your budget, will be more easy to buy a used Mac. In Italy Mac propose often used Mac (less than 1 years of use) totally rigenerate with a 12 months guarantee.
Try this way in Apple Poland homepage, maybe it's possible to have it.

well, really I dind't understand how can you register your Mac OSX without a Mac hardware. It's very easy that you will not have the confirm of your OSX to Apple Inc.
It seems strange that people can force the integrity of Mac's hardware and have OSX totally avaible on a Pc.

I dont know anything about mac, nor about OSX on x86 architecture, but if a lot this kind of projects exist, then there must be a use for it.

Of course i dont think you can have 100% of OSX features doing this :)

MacFlush to the rescue!
Seriously, I saw 'MAC help (+1)' and I knew you or Flush were here ;-)
So far I found this:
http://www.osx86project.org/
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/
which seems to be very helpful, yet comlicated... :-/
I still have to find a list of hardware that supports Mac OSx... :-]

from what I understand its the processor an the GFX card that need to be compatible?
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, ATI Mobility Radeon X1800
with 256MB Dedicated RAM
?

Well, that sounds pretty complicated to me. Why would you want to install OS X on a windows computer? Fact is, you'll still have compatibility problems, even though you'll try to compensate them.

The cheapest variant will probably be to buy a macbook pro, which isn't that expensive (shall I remember that apple computer last in average 2 years more than windows computer).
This will save you the time you would use, to solve the compatibility problems.

The price is imo reasonable, since the costumer service is pretty good, and the computer built to last.
At least you can install WinXP on it, working on it like it is on any other windows computer (trust me on that).

You are probably right, yet as I have mentioned my budget is limited, cheapest mac(-book pro) for my needs costs about £1200 (with a 13'' screen) which is almost double my budget. :-(

Is the any cheaper way to get a macbook pro? factory referbished macs? somewere? possibly US. (-30% cheaper than EU)... Anyone? any suggestions?

Maybe you could ask at your mac shop. There shall be some presentation models, that could be cheaper. First they are not the newest model (which they keep, you'll get the previous generation), second you don't have much of a choice.
But that's a good possibility.

btw, that doesn't double your budget, just +50% to the amount you cited (which was 800£). ;)

That won't solve jasiom's problem. Do apple-haters actually use their brain? I somehow doubt it, seeing what nonsense they produce...
