Subject: Federer/Nadal
Clearly Federer! ;-)
He's the most talented and he's the most complete player, no doubt about that!
In the last years he was always at least in the semis in the Grand Slams (even while being ill), he's almost unbeatable when the surface is very fast (this year Wimbledon was ~25 slower than 5 years ago and the ball bounced much higher).
Nadal is getting more complete from season to season, but his serve and his net abilities are far from being top class at the moment.
Federer is much more elegant, he's strong in defense, his serve is great and his play at the net aswell (even forehand volley is his weakness).
In my eyes only Safin is as talented as Federer, but that's not the question here ;-)

Federer i think is the biggest player of tennis.... even though i prefer nadal when he plays against federer these 2 players are my favorites... federer is complete in my opinion... nadal excels in stamina, speed, strength but federer is almost complete in every section... federer deserve to be no1 but nadal time will come soon ;)
Federer is irregular, only knows play wining, for this Nadal win him more times. He has a lot of technique, but Nadal have the spain furious :D
Federer Federer.
I hate the Nadal's attitude.

I think on Clay and grass that is the case, but from what I've seen on hardcourts, especially the US ones, Nadal isn't too comfortable on them.
I expect at the US, that Federer will have competition from other players, mainly Djokovic, as they suit his game.
Also, it's why I see Federer as better, as he has virtually conquered all surfaces, his problem is by the time he conquered clay, a certain Spaniard had arrived.

It seems a bit like sampras-agassi but federer is a bit stronger then sampras and nadal is much more stronger than agassi
To be "stronger" than Agassi, Nadal must first win all four Grand Slams... until then, you can say that Nadal has potential to beat some day the great Andre!

I guess you are right here. But Nadal wasn't really good on grass 2 seasons ago either, he is developing like a maniac :-P

I expect him to improve in the next year or so, and wouldn't be surprised to see him reach the 09 US final.
Actually, if he got to this years final I wouldn't be overly surprised, though just don't expect it.

I voted Nadal cause he won on Federer's turff...
unless Federer win RG one day I'll never consider him as the true number 1...

you will never consider him as the true number one unless he wins RG?
So you haven't for the last 4 years also where he has been dominant? That seems a bit odd to me. Or is it that you're talking from a current perspective?

As dominant as he's been, just like Sampras he hasnt won at Roland Garros. I wouldnt call him a great player until he has won all 4 majors.
