Subject: Math problem!

If I would write this my teacher would kill me xD

maybe someone knows a good site where you can learn math (class 10-12) with good explanations and formulas ....

I've got a combinatorics problem:

268
135
00?

247
823
32?

674
563
89? -> (imo obviously 6)

965
183
99?

Do you guys have an idea which numbers I have to put instead of the question marks? I would be glad about any help.

Better go to library and take some math books. I think that books are much better choice when learning math, especially classes higher than 9.

n2-n1= X

then n3-n2= x solve for n3

OR

n2/n1= X

then n3/n2= X solve for n3 ( cause you have x now)

If i am right you owe me a short plus ;)

i would prefer on internet, because when i will open 3 different books then my desk will be full :D it would be easier to switch between tabs :)

Can you show it to me with the numbers, I seem to be a bit slow today.

when I have to read some mathematic stuff I need to be able to write or draw, for me it's not possible to learn math only reading come web site.

Maybe he's a little genius, you don't know.
On topic now: My math teacher always said that if you want to learn math, you need a pencil, a rubber and a piece of paper. So if someone wants to learn math I think those 3 items are not that expensive.

135
00?

2x3 = 6 +2 = 8
1x3 = 3 +2 = 8
0x3 = 0 + 2 =2

or
if looked at downwards its
2-1-0
6-3-0
8-5-2
which is also pretty obviously correct

=002

247
823
32?

674
563
89? -> (imo obviously 6) - correct (first number -2)

965
183
99?

or 3rd method:
268-135=133
135-133=002

hence why the numbers are cool!

and you are writing or drawing in the book ?:P just because im using a website doesn't mean i cant write something on my paper :D

could anybody show me how to solve this stuff:

log2 + log(4^x-2 + 9) = 1 + log(2^x-2 + 1)

I´d be grateful:P

You could try this:

log2 + log(4^x-2 + 9) = log2 + log((2^x-2 +3)(2^x-2 - 3))
to be easier: y = 2^x-2 + 1 =>
log2 + log((y + 2)(y - 4)) = 1 + logy
log(2(y + 2)(y - 4)) = log(10y)
from here I think you can do it
2010-05-22 19:03:16
hm, ok that´s complicated stuff:P I think I skipped the school while we were studying this.. but just incase, do you think you could show what the final result should be, I´ll see if I´ll get the same result or not.
