Ive got a chemistry problem, but it should suit in this topic aswell:P

At the laboratory, i´ve got 512 g 15% solution. How much 72% solution is needed in order to prepare a 43% solution?

answer should be around 490g but i need the road to the answer.

i think it comes down to 1+2=3, but how do i find the mass of second solution?

anyone up to the task?:P

512*15 + X*72 = (512+X)*43

Solve this equation to X and you have your answer.

Should give: 494.3g

I'm glad I don't have to do those anymore. And sorry you're disappointed now, 'cause you probably thought: 'Yes, someone answered my question!' :p

I was never good in solving goniometric equations.

I maybe have an idea but I'm going to sleep and I'm too tired for trying to solve math problems...and I thought you're a math expert ;)
no, u were too fast to expect "someone answered my question" :P

and yes, I am disappointed now:( dissappointed because such an easy thing looked mindfuck to me:(

how do you get ln in wolframalpah? I mean, when I type ln, it turns it automatically into log..:/

Get it to integrate 1/X? :P
