I heard the internet uses 20% of the energy output of the world. Ban the internet.

(actually, esp. the video streams seem to use an awful lot of energy. Does anybody know more about this?)

This is a somewhat older study (2006) but the outcome is very interesting ..The result of this study shows the direct link between CO2 and the increasing temperature on earth.

Snow at the end of March is crazy, but Scotland had snow in June one year, can't remember when.

warm water comes above the cold.

Hot air rises, so I expected warm water to be above cold.

Breathing is also a factor of global warming. The sun too. Let's burst the sun! XD

@trga: turn your brain on. Without sex, there will be no more humanity... It's sure, that it has a (minor) influence on the global warming. But that's obviously a natural factor, so it's not a good argument against the global warming...

The sun, animals, volcano’s and all those things are part of nature and the earth rely on those things and there WAS a balance. Cars, factories, to much cattle and those things are not part of nature and brings everything out of balance.

If you ask farmers, fisherman and other people who work with nature all will tell you things are really changing and noticeable in a lifetime. But of course ignorant people knows it all much better ...............

In the Netherlands last few years many weatherrecords are broken, hottest or coldest month, most snowy, rainy, sunny or driest month/period etc etc ... Of course in the last 100+ years there where many extreem weather periods but not this many in such a short time. I can see the change and I live in a city :)

higher temperature of air in general results in more moisture in it.

it leads to more rain, snow and increase the risk of heavy flooding
