Probably! Like I said I don't know. Probably Western countries wouldn't even care that much about Bangladesh. Only a Western disaster will be a real wake-up call.
Unfortunatly it are our countries that are going to lose everything ...

much worse situation have Miami or half of Bangladesh
Many countries have problems with the rising sea level. Some small island communities are already destroyed because their island has submurged by the rising sea level.
At least 18 islands are submerged already and many more are facing the same situation: LINK

My opinion:
The planet is getting sick because of the over population of a parasite (us).
As all living organisms the earth will try to get rid of the threat.
We are the cause of our extinction and the evil threat to all living species around the world.
I really think that climate is changing, the disappearance of greenforest, the use and abuse of drinkable water, the contamination and devastation of the sea life, etc, etc are now showing up its consequences. I have no doubt that life in the next years will be very different from what we were used to.
And if WE dont do our little part every day, no one will.

Again, a lot of disagreement, and a little understanding.
Quote myself: "first of all I would like to state (for the record) that I am not denying "climate change", nor, I am denying "Global Warming" effects (like the graphs you posted), I am only denying its causes, supposably human made CO2 related causes (a stated in the IPCC global warming later climate change rubbish reports)"
so...
Yes, "global warming" is happening. I agree...
Yes, sea levels are rising (you can read up more of my opinions on that, on page 6 of this thread, I also suggest the short yt video 3 posts down on same page)
Yes, greenhouse gasses such as water vapour are warming up our planet. I agree...
Yes, the temperature is rising...
Yes... Yes... Yes...
but ;-p, I do not agree, that the main cause is human made CO2.
You have to understand that all climate change predictions are base on so much variables that its near impossible to predict weather patterns well, esspecially for long periods of time - even via computer modeling. Often weather predictions are steered by the predicting model in whichever way it was programed by the programer... and, it always lacks some weather variable/s.
Just because I predict AC Milan will beat Inter Milan, does not make it true, even if I use the best computer program to turn out the odds... we just do not know, its as simple as that. Climate change is such a situation.
That is the problem with the theory that human made CO2 is mostly responsible for speeding up the greenhouse effect process. It is simply not true... as human made CO2 levels are insignificant to the levels of CO2 made by other sources (volcanoes & so on), and CO2 itself - has little significance compare to other greenhouse gasses... which, yes... warm up our planet. Water vapour from oceans is most responsible from what I understand, and humans have not a sligtest chance to change or influence that.
The whole global warming issiue was started of by the first IPCC report of weather predictions which turn out to be wrong!
I found your 'argument' really strange: "Believe the world is flat because a handfull of scientists still saying that! ;)"
as that is exaclty what has happend with the global warming scare, its was writen by a bunch of "scientist" in power, who made wrong (most catastrofic) predictions of what could happen... (not what will happen) and they were mosty wrong. But people and politicians in particular, bought the idea which is still going strong.
Most scientists (weather experts, along with computer modeling experts) are very sceptical of the 'human-made CO2 model, as cause 1one.' theory, as the report made wrong predictions in the first place... so then they made correcions... and its was wrong again... and the IPCC keeps on changing its predictions... and mosty, they turn out not to so catastrophic I predivted in the begining... yet, the IPCC is in power and has the attencion of politicians... so it is made out to be a dig deal, where as in fact, most of it very far away from reality or of what we hear in the media.
Global Warming is very overexagerated to say the least. And its not caused by human made CO2.
There is no concrete evidence for that, there is graphs which show a rise, yess...
yet the true causes are completly unknown... as is future weather - almost completly unknown. It is a little ridiculous to worry about our deodorants, and forget about the suns constant sunspot activity. Our data is too small to put the blame solely on humans.
As that is the only real issiue here, cause no one is denying the 30cm per 100years sea level rise, or the co2 level rise... which has little effect on the actual problem of greenhouse effect -which also is happening, but is not as bad as its made out to be, and which there is really very little humans can do about stopping it. And last but not least, "global warming"data is rarely 'mutually supportive', which is a neccesity if we want to concider some theory to be scientifically correct.
etc...
as for the videos, I've not seen them before easter-day ;-) and that is not where my stance comes from, yet its almost same view point on the matter, with much more authority than my posts. I suggest watching them to balance out your views. ;-) peace ;-p out.
PS: not been sleeping, so sorry for mistakes, and repetion.. :-/ ...but you get the idea... ;-)
PS II: this winter in Poland was the coldest in decades, a lot of warming I sense... ;-)

I hope not, but that last line shows how much you really seems to understand of this all: this winter in Poland was the coldest in decades, a lot of warming I sense.... The world temperature is rising but that doesn't mean it will always be warmer everywhere on our planet. The correct name is 'Global Change'.
But ok, a simple question. Why is it that the concentrations of greenhouse gasses (CO2, CH4, N2O, SO2 etc.) in the worlds atmosphere, or better troposphere, is rising if this is not manmade? How many earth changing volcano eruptions have you heard of this lifetime? If there would be a lot more volcano activity I would understand this must be a reason, but that is not what is happening on earth at the moment ... WE are producing most of these greenhouse gasses, many millions of tons everyday, all extra in our troposphere and not part of nature at all, like volcanoes etc. that are part of nature.
Human activities release more than 130 times the amount of CO2 emitted by volcanoes--the equivalent of more than 8,000 additional volcanoes like Kilauea (Kilauea emits about 3.3 million tonnes/year). link to site
And this is only CO2, not all greenhouse gasses.
You can think what ever you want but you must understand you are part of the small minority and there is a reason for that. Industries, governments, many households etc. are trying to cut down greenhouse gas emissions and they don’t do that because they like spending a lot of money on that. Of course there are businesses earning money on this all, probably nothing would ever change if it only costs money.
Some extra info, the troposphere:
The Troposphere is the lowest layer of the atmosphere and measures about 7 miles(12 km). It contains over 75 percent of all the atmosphere's gases and vast quantities of water and dust. As the sun heats the ground, it keeps this thick mixture churning. The weather is caused by these churnings of the mass. The troposphere is normally warmest at ground level and cools higher up where it reaches its upper boundary (the tropopause). The tropopause varies in height. At the equator it is at 11,2 miles(8 km) high, at 50 N and 50 S, 5,6 miles(9 km) and at the poles 3,7 miles(6 km) high. link to site
Not that much air to pollute without consequences if you ask me ..
PS. It is a little ridiculous to worry about our deodorants .. I've seen you write something like this before. The whole in the ozonlayer is real, don't know what you think (?). The dangers of HCFC's and CFC's aren't made up to scare us, these gasses break down ozon. Banning CFC's and replacing this by HCFC's was 1 of the best, or even best worldwide environmental step ever taken together because of the danger to the ozonlayer. HCFC's are now getting replaced by the 'saver' HFC's, unfortunatly this is also a much more polluting greenhouse gas. link to site

england has also had the longest and cldest winter for some time!
and it is april and the start of spring is yet to be seen! global warming is bull.
and it is april and the start of spring is yet to be seen! global warming is bull.
And we've all seen, that in Vancouver there's been nearly no snow during the winter olympic games. Will you tell me, this is normal?
@ozone layer: this has not much to do with the global warming. The ozone layer only protects us from UV-rays. It catches up most of them, allowing life on earth. No ozone layer = no life on earth.
But it has no influence on the temperature, as the ozone layer has no influence on the infrared rays, who are warming up the earth.

Murder your neigbours and global warming is solved.
The Earth has risen in temperature and cooled for millions of years, but only its because we have the technology we are realising and panicking about it. It's a load of rubbish.
was there not an ice age 6 housand years ago?? yes there was!.
tglobal warming is a natural process and that is the end of it.

Remind me of that one when I come to write my PhD :p

No, there should have be an ice age around now. But thanks to global warming, you can blow it...
BTW: England is an island, therefor massively influenced by the sea-streams. The winter you had, is a try. If the gulf stream stops, you'll have that every winter. The gulf stream is stopping because of the melting of the banquise, which is caused by the global warming.
The only reason why we have in Europe such a warm climate is the gulf stream. Never wondered why our winters aren't so cold compared to Canada? (Canada is at the same latitude as Europe)
